Amazon Prime used to be very good—especially about a year ago. Unfortunately, the service has become absolutely disappointing.

Three of my recent orders have had problems. Two arrived late, despite paying for Prime and expecting the advertised delivery times. The third was cancelled because of “issues during transit.” The explanations feel like excuses, and instead of actually addressing the problem, Amazon seems to try to quiet customers down by adding a small credit to the account.

That doesn’t solve the problem. When you pay for Prime and sometimes even pay extra for faster delivery, you expect your orders to arrive when promised. Lately, that simply hasn’t been the case.

At this point, I honestly don’t see the point of paying for Amazon Prime anymore. I’ve had a much better experience with eBay, including next-day delivery.

Very disappointing. Amazon needs to seriously improve its delivery service and start giving customers what they are paying for. I would think twice before paying for Prime.

The last year or so, a lot of deliveries are not arriving on time. Once they miss the delivery slot, they don’t seem to care when it arrives. Then Customer Service is polite but can’t do anything. Prime membership has been diluted that much it’s not worth it. I’ve noticed that buying an item with Prime can be dearer sometimes (than non-prime members) but you don’t get charged delivery.
If you’re a non-Prime member, it’s often cheaper, but you do get charged delivery if you order over £35 however it’s then free as a non-Prime member,
I pay yearly for the subscription, and six months in I asked to cancel, and they have stated that because of the delivery and service I have had, I would get nothing back. I also noticed people pay monthly, so if they cancelled, surely Amazon couldn’t tell them that they owe them more money.
It is a one-way street with Amazon. They were handy but in general more expensive, and what you get for Prime is not worth it.
If you were checking reviews about a website and it had this type of reviews, you would not use it.

I ordered a golf glove for same day delivery because I was playing golf the next day. Item was not delivered and I have been told it will be delivered in up to 6 days.... Now I have to purchase a new one at the golf club at double the cost.
I was offered free delivery by the Amazon agent as a way of apology...the item was free delivery so that was kind.
Very disappointed in Amazon. I have been prime for 15 odd years and expect much more

ordered a new iPad on 5/10/26 using Prime as I wanted it quickly they took the moneyb out on the 6th it is now the 9th and still no ipad.I have spoken to a couplev of so called advisorsstillno koy

Paying £8.99 per month for Amazon prime delivery. Payment being taken monthly but NO prime account recognised when ordering. Talking to a robot takes you nowhere. ‘Your account is suspended’ update payment method. Getting nowhere. No customer service whatsoever. Spent 2 weeks trying. No one to talk to. Automatic call back hangs up. 😤😤😤 Eleanor Wiggins

Absolutely shite prime delivery horrendous prime tv repeats all same shite its that bad ,order an item wont cancel it even though its to late

I've been a prime subscriber & advocate for a number of years but in the last 6 to 8 months the service has become appalling. There is no consistent next day delivery as stated when you order & the response from customer service is negative & condescending. Got to be better options looks like bezos just takes the money & runs

Amazon.com repeatedly deliver to multiple wrong addresses. I've provided camera footage of my front door to show it does not match any of the delivery photos which they have confirmed and accepted as their mistake. After asking to be refunded for a service I pay for (Amazon Prime) and don't receive, they've told me they can't refund because Google Play take the money for the Amazon app from my bank account before ultimately forwarding it Amazon.
A multi trillion dollar company are too stingy to reimburse me???? Wow.
I have to call up every time this happens, which is frequently so they want to offer a gift card!!! So I can order more things that also won't arrive!?
I recorded the call where the caller was lost for words and just hung on silently.

Try to place an order and when it came to choosing delivery options, there were only two. One is Premium Prime which is for 12 months. The other is Prime Time for 30 days trial period. There is no standard deduction. This is not fair for I do not want either. They need to offer standard deduction only for all orders.

I've stopped my Amazon Prime membership as I pay for next day delivery and recently it does not arrive on time when I needed it. Jeff Bezos is making a killing a letter it's members down. He's a complete joke as us Amazon

Once again I’ve ordered a product using Amazon prime. The item has been out for delivery for 4 days now. I have just received a message saying it may be here tomorrow if not try contacting them on Wednesday for a refund. You pay for prime and the service is diabolical. I am starting to shop on other sites. They need to actual listen to customers views and act on it .

Was lured in by the free trial. Ordered 2 items on separate occasions and both were delivered a day late. What's the point of next day guarantee if you don't deliver?

Terrible service. You pay prime membership for faster delivery and there is no difference! Always late or lost. Absolute waste of money being a prime member

I was pretty surprised at all the 1 star reviews as mine would verge on a 5 star but maybe that's because predominantly I use Prime for shopping. I don't know anywhere else I can order an item and get it delivered the same day. Yes this is often quite late at night same day but the amount of times this has got me out of sticky situations that alone is worth it. I can also get same day delivery with Morrisons which comes in very handy. Yes it costs a little more but if you suddenly discover unexpected guests are on their way or other such emergency situations you will be happy to pay that little bit extra and sigh with relief particularly if like me you can't just hop in a car to the supermarket. If I have an issue with any items they will refund no problem and often refund and allow me to keep item the most expensive being a lawnmower! I can't think of any other store would do that particularly these days. I'm extremely happy with Amazon Prime but I see I am in the minority and guess that can't be ignored.

I could rant over the fact that a multi-billion dollar company cant create a user friendly and functioning app so stream video. But I will focus on the fact that they intentionally have made it almost impossible to cancel subscription. If I need to cancel my subscription I will do so. I do not forget that I need to do that just because you make it almost impossible. The only thing you really accomplish is that I will remember this the next time I ponder if I should subscribe again. When that happens I will immediately think: "Oh, remember the frikkin hurdles they put me through, all the time and frustration they put on me to get out. Well, then its not worth it. I go subscribe to a platform that actually respects its customers instead."

Amazon is a complete joke they say a month's free trial of prime but then try taking money out your account even before the month is up.
Don't trust them.

I haven't had Prime for over a year now after they brought in the price rises and adding more and more ads to Prime video.
Took up an offer of 30 days free recently and boy have they absolutely destroyed this once great subscription even more.

The ads in the TV shows and movies absolutely killed it for me (3 minutes at the start then numerous more in the middle, ads when you pause etc.
Never mind the weird and wonderful way they try and push additional charges for other programs and films

That's it, I'm done with Amazon prime and will never pay for it again. I don't need you I promise you.

Absolutely ruined

Its a shame there is not a NEGATIVE star rating, despicable untrustworthy delivery times are NEVER on they day they say

I would leave a zero star rating as i have canceled my membership and never will use amazon again as the delivery drivers from to time stealing my packages that aren’t even expensive
