Akara Labs Arvostelua

Interesting design - very light and easy to use ...

Coder works, managed to code all my lens with pens provided. Was sent quickly in sensible packaging

A product that works well in itself – a great idea. Fast delivery, even to Germany! Unfortunately, the marking does not last very long and often has to be renewed. You may have to apply a clear varnish. I haven't tested it yet.

This modestly priced device worked as advertised ! I successfully, and easily encoded a sweet 90mm 2.8 Tele-Elmarit M lens. (It is important that you pay attention to the clear and complete video and written instructions)

Works perfectly with the good pen. Had to pay extra tax when it arrived in France. But still worth the money for my 4 non Leica lenses.

Order came quickly considering it came from Europe to North America. I was missing an item which was quickly resolved. Thank you again!

Despite having problems with postal services, Akara Labs remained considerate and polite and sent me a replacement for the lost item at no extra cost.
Communication is easy with this company.
In case you need to ID your Leica M lenses, Akara Labs has a cheap solution. I recommend strongly.

Good service. High quality product .

for future I would like to see a metal version plus proper grinder bit for hand tool (Moto tool) to make pits that will be marked permanently. I am considering a free hand pit now that the location is marked and checked in camera.

Great product. It shipped very quickly and had very high-quality.

Leica M Coding template - Great piece of kit - coded three Voigtlander lenses in five minutes. All working perfectly. Definitely recommended.

I received the Akara Lab 6-bit encoder and was able to "code" my 35 & 28 mm lens so that they are now automatically recognised as such by my M10. Users should be aware that not all marker inks read well and may need to try several for best results. Screw mount lens users also may have to update their LSM-M adapters since the flange on older adapters is cut back at the spot where we need to draw the codes.

The six bit lens encoder has saved me hundreds of pounds. This neat item allowed me to code my non Leica lenses. I can send them off to have this done for several hundred pounds per lens. Using this I managed to code them all for just 20 pounds plus a permanent marker. It was dispatched quickly and does the job brilliantly.

Great piece of equipment to code all my Leica M lenses! Worked on almost all of them except if there’s a screw in the way!
