Rubs off ridiculously fast

Works well at first but after a handful of lens changes it starts to wear off. As it slowly wears off it starts to trick the camera into reading the code as other lens types which is really annoying.

When it works, it works well however as soon as it starts to wear off it becomes much worse then before coding the lenses.

Hi Alex, thanks for your review.

On almost all popular third-party lenses the ink will not rub off as it sits in a very slight indent which protects it.

I suspect you may be trying to code a vintage Leica lens. These tend to be more susceptible to rubbing if the tolerances are tight between the lens and camera body. This can vary per camera body/lens.

Please get in touch if you would like to discuss further as we may be able to help.

Pure scam

Pure scam. I ordered a package 20 days ago and nothing has arrived. They told me to contact them if it doesn’t show up after 17 days. I messaged them three times and got zero replies. No tracking updates, no communication, nothing. Complete waste of money and time. Avoid this seller at all costs.

Simple & effective.

Bought to encode a Voigtlander 35/f2 APO lens to attach to a Leica adapter on my Leica SL3. Simply tells the camera IBIS system which focal length to set (one could do it manually through the camera menu but easier this way!). Very easy & works perfectly. Recommended.
