I actually paid for packaging removal…
I actually paid for packaging removal as well the it did not happened and the delevery left it out doing that. Not happy with that not a huge iss but all about the trust. Not sure why or how that happened but very unprofessional.

**Disappointing Service on Two Separate…
**Disappointing Service on Two Separate Deliveries**
We've recently had two OKA sofas delivered by AIT on separate occasions, and unfortunately both experiences have been disappointing.
On the first delivery, the team unpacked the sofa but inadvertently took the legs away with the packaging. OKA subsequently resolved the issue without question and, entirely unprompted, refunded our delivery charge. Excellent customer service from OKA, but a frustrating experience nonetheless.
Our second delivery this Monday was considerably worse.
Communication beforehand from AIT was good, although communicating with the delivery team on arrival proved extremely difficult.
The sofa arrived in packaging too large to fit through what I would describe as a generously sized front doorway. Rather than simply unpacking it, the team had to telephone their head office for authorisation. This became a lengthy and rather frustrating process, during which I eventually had to speak directly with their office to help resolve the situation.
Once permission was granted, the team didn't even have a suitable knife to open the packaging, so I had to provide one myself!
Having finally managed to get the sofa inside, they then walked mud onto our brand-new cream carpet, despite my specifically pointing out a mat for them to wipe their shoes.
To cap it all, they were preparing to leave without fitting the sofa legs. I located and unpacked the legs myself, but when I asked the delivery gentleman to fit them, he laughed and indicated that they didn't know how to do that, before leaving.
Frankly, I found the whole experience extraordinary for a company entrusted with delivering expensive furniture into customers' homes.
We deliberately chose OKA because of its reputation as a premium furniture retailer, and I have to say their customer service has been exemplary throughout. Once again, without being asked, OKA refunded our delivery charge following this latest experience. I sincerely hope they recover that cost from AIT, as it is their delivery partner who has let them down.
This review is not a criticism of OKA, quite the opposite. They have handled both situations exceptionally well.
However, AIT really needs to review its delivery procedures, staff training, communication and basic care when entering customers' homes.
**A premium product deserves a premium delivery service. Unfortunately, on two separate occasions, AIT has fallen well short.**

Second time they've let me down
Sitting in waiting for my second order from bathroom mountain. Got a message saying there is a 4 hour delay due to vehicle breakdown. Funny that. Got exactly the same message with my first delivery from AIT. Ended up not arriving that day and never got a call. Yet if you're not home to receive the goods, you will be charged a redelivery cost. When they did finally deliver it, they didn't call to say they were on their way. They called when they were outside!
