5 seconds after they got off the phone I assisted and got the mattress upstairs.

Second delivery - appalling service
First delivery, no problem, good service. Second delivery is absolutely appalling. We are still awaiting the delivery of our special order radiator which has sat in their Warrington depot for SIX days awaiting transport to their Northampton depot. 5 calls to customer services to be told 'we will escalate by emailing the depot management'. So 5 emails sent by their team, same result, the radiator is still sat there not moving ... how broken is this process? does anyone actually care here? Now holding up our entire building project.

I am extremely disappointed with the way my complaint has been handled by AIT Home Delivery.
To be clear, I have no complaints about the delivery and installation team themselves. They were polite, friendly, and professional throughout the visit. Unfortunately, during the installation of my washing machine, my utility shelving unit was damaged.
I reported the damage immediately, provided all the information requested, including photos, timestamped images, CCTV footage, videos, and proof of purchase. Each time I was asked for additional evidence, I supplied it promptly.
On 3 July, I was informed that the case was being discussed with their subcontractor and that I would be contacted with an update shortly. Since then, I have received no further communication despite waiting over a month.
The most frustrating part has been the complete lack of followup. A simple update, even if the investigation is ongoing, would have been appreciated. Instead, I have been left chasing for answers while my damaged property remains unresolved.
Good customer service isn't just about delivering appliances, it's also about taking responsibility when things go wrong and keeping customers informed. Sadly, my experience after reporting the damage has fallen well below that standard.
