The information was thorough, practical and easy to apply. Also, the links to references (legislation and additional resources) are very helpful for dealing with issues in the workplace.

Excellent course, well explained with good examples. The slides were clear and easy to read. There were also some good additional links.

Acas used to be very helpful and easy to contact 10 or more years ago. Now it is very difficult to contact them by phone and when you submit a case via their portal, you will have to wait many weeks for a case worker to contact you. I waited 9 weeks before I heard anything from my case worker. But they apparently have severe backlogs of cases and 12 weeks is now an expected waiting period to hear from Acas.

As someone else on here pointed out, Google AI becomes useful to you. I used Google AI to ask questions about my case against my former employer, what to do, what to expect, how to claim compensation, who's right or wrong in this instance etc Google AI has been more help than Acas and if you don't have a Union Representative, Google AI will be helpful to you. It can even help you draft out letters you might not know how to. And No! I'm not advertising for Google it's genuinely my positive experience.

As my former employer has completely ignored Acas (which apparently is acceptable because they are under no obligation to respond) Acas have issued me with an early conciliation certificate to proceed to an employment tribunal with. My case will remain open with Acas in the event my former employer decides to negotiate rather than risk going to a tribunal. Again I'm relying on Google AI to prepare me and give me advice.

Like I said, Acas weren't always this bad. Lack of funding, lack of staff and a high case load are to blame. But it's not OUR fault! We are just trying to seek help and struggling to get it. But please try Google AI or whatever AI you have on your smartphone. Please use it. Without AI i would not have come this far. I'm close to getting compensation from my former employer and I feel better informed. Again, I'm not promoting Google AI. I'm just mentioning how very useful it has been to me and other people.

Hung up on twice today as I appreciate of the Betsy long ques but the ones with disabilities that can’t use the web to look up the different advice that I desperately need can’t do that!

Accessible and informative sessions.

Charlie who delivered the training was very reactive to queries and questions, the patterns of the session (IE Subject, Training, Scenario, Break Out Session, Group Session) meant you knew you would have good time to input and get opinions and also when your breaks would be to rest the brain! Charlie also stayed behind to discuss a few scenarios and answers questions with me which was very useful.

Adviser lacked basic customer service and knowledge and the best advice they could offer after a three month wait was to pay for legal advice. Note to anyone who works for a public organisation and wants to bring a case against them- they will try and discourage this. Not impartial at all and not fit for purpose.

I have had the opportunity to attend several ACAS webinars & online training sessions,  which are well presented and packed with helpful information. The presenters are clear and supportive, especially on topics such as redundancy and disciplinary hearings.

Rubbish, they are not their to help, it is discouraging when compsnys str acting unlawfully. This organisation is not fit for purpose! The government should hold these organisations liable for their non-compliance. Paying for an incompetent service!!!

Great webinar. The pace the speaker had gone through this was very good, they were clear, concise and easy to understand throughout the event. I would recommend attending these webinars, as it helps you think about your own situations within the workplace to gain a better understanding of how to take situations forward.

Very informative with useful information and advice included, however there was some off putting background noise sounding like someone playing a diggereedoo.
