It's NOT free

It's NOT free, it would not play a single 4k file. It wants money for additional codecs that it claims it needs. My 4k files were playable with the K-lite codec pack media player.

The 5k player locked up several times too. Worthless bait and switch software which wants money.

It's a trojan

It's a trojan. After installing it, it kept starting up in the background, and using up disk space. Also, the files seem encrypted as JSON files are not in the proper format. Encryption is one of the ways it can bypass antivirus detection.

Edit: Forgot to mention that it changes default apps on startup.

I enjoyed the High quality…

I enjoyed the High quality software,best of all it's free. I did run into some issues with it trying to replace other players functions,but those were quickly resolved,errors just used original programs as default instead. I think if your looking for a good program this is the one for you.

Good app

I was quite annoyed when I found that my PC could not play any video disc without additional software. This app is easy to use and more than meets my basic needs. No problems with it (although I'm not a heavy user).

This is the best player all around

This is the best player all around, i have not found anything that i don't like and just about always you will find something that you are not crazy about, Great app give it a try i think that you will end up enjoying the app,

The best video player I've ever used on the Mac.

I've tried other video player apps for the Mac. I have a lot of flv files from the past.

Most other players had trouble playing some of my videos, but not 5KPlayer!

Super easy to install (it's on a Mac. what would you expect?) and it's sooooo easy to use.

I love this player. It's super easy to use, and I can use Airplay with it as well so that's a bonus I wasn't expecting! Super easy to send videos to my TV via Apple TV.

I'd recommend this player to anyone who uses a Mac and wants something that just works and works with no issues whatsoever!

Excellent product!
