Buyer Beware - Especially International Buyers!

Ordered on Dec 5/21. No tracking update by Dec 14 so I contacted them. Customer Service (CS) said it was lost with their distributor, 'resent' order Dec 15. Still nothing by Jan 2/22. Contacted CS for a refund, they said I need to refuse order when it arrives and then they will issue a refund once it arrives. Unfortunately order was delivered Jan 5 but to my mailbox (across the street) and not at door so was unable to refuse. Now because it's an international order, I would have to pay for it to be shipped back. I won't get refund until it's received. Funny, the label says it was shipped & signed by 4Ocean on Dec 28 AND it has another label with the original shipping label on it from Dec 6. Perhaps they didn't lose the order, they just never shipped it in the first place... Hmmm!! Very dishonest with their customers!

Great concept. Poor shopping/shipping/customer service experience!

Bracelet took 3.5 weeks just to ship…

Bracelet took 3.5 weeks just to ship and was way past the guaranteed date. Then they ended up shipping me FOUR additional bracelets in separate packages that I did not order. Customer service is not helpful and is so scripted the answers don’t even make sense.

So disappointed

I’m sad to write this as I have always loved 4 ocean for what they do and never had issues before. It’s clear something is up with the company after reading all the recent reviews and seeing that I am not alone.
I placed an order Nov 8 and was emailed with tracking Nov 9. No movement has happened in that time. My tracking says not valid.
I emailed the company 3 weeks ago and got a quick response citing fulfillment issues and that my order would be shipped soon. When I asked why it was deemed shipped on Nov 9 yet it apparently wasn’t, I got the exact same generic response.
Since it’s now been another 3 weeks with nothing I just emailed for refund.

* Update - I got a very quick response and refund today on my purchase. Sad to cancel but happy to have my $ back

I do see you have communicated with our customer service team and they were able to explain we use FedEx cross borders and those tracking numbers only work on their site verus the standard Fedex page. I made a large purchase back in October…

I made a large purchase back in October and it is now mid-December and my order hasn’t arrived. I did receive an email that my order had shipped weeks ago, but it did not provide a valid tracking number. I contacted customer service a week ago citing my order number and asking for an expected delivery date/valid tracking number. The responses look generic and automated. They apologized for the delay but did not give me a tracking number. If it has indeed shipped, supplying a tracking number is basic, standard procedure. What concerns me more is it says it Shipped FedEx, which should only take maximum 5 days. So I’m worried it’s a complete lie that it shipped at all

Disappointment

Disappointment.
A tracking number has been provided after my purchase, but the order has not been handed over to the shipper company after more than one month. No response from the customer service.

Update:
After conversations with 4 customer advocates - thanks to Trustpilot- I finally got my money back.

4Ocean Buyer Beware

4Ocean is flawed. 2 orders that I placed in October were lost. In one order the shirts were delayed and I was told they were in “pre-order” and they would arrive within 9 days. A parcel arrived but were not the shirts I ordered. In order #2 I was urged to purchase a “holiday gift bag” for $5.99 but the $60 hoody that was the initial order was never delivered. 60 days after the order was placed I inquired and was told the hoody was no longer in stock and would be refunded but I was charged for the gift bag which I would have ever ordered without the hoody.

This is NOT a not-for-profit charity. It’s an e-commerce corporation dressed as a social clause and the main business is not cleaning the oceans but selling merchandise. And unfortunately, they can’t even do that right.

I have emailed three time concerning…

I have emailed three time concerning none movement for my order, A tracking number has been provided after my first email but there has been no movement. I just checked with the shipper and the order has not been picked up. This is a birthday gift ordered before Black Friday and would be simple to put in an envelope and send via usps. I love the mission statement but the customer service and customer service is not up to speed. Will not order going forward and my need to contact my bank to dispute the charge for none shipment . Too Bad Update to my review 4Ocean has made this very right for me. I have received my order in time for presenting as well as a counted for my time in follow up. The items are beautiful and I will order from them again.

So let this be a buyer beware warning

So let this be a buyer beware warning: I placed my order on oct 30. The website and order confirmation email says I should get a tracking number within 48 hours.

I get nothing for 2+ weeks and email in to get a status update. In the meantime - my email address has been spammed to oblivion MULTIPLE TIMES DAILY about new products and sales. Nowhere on their website states that there are now shipping delays of any sort!

I finally get a response 48 hours later stating that my order would be shipping the following week. In the meantime, more spam daily in my mailbox despite unsubscribing to it all.

A week goes by- and I still have no update. I send another email and get a response that they dropped the ball. Currently trying to get a cancellation, but will probably have to reach out for the CC company to deal with it.

I want to love the product, but service is just completely awful. Don't do it..save your money and time for other options!

I’m so sorry for any misunderstanding, The Guy Harvey x 4ocean shirts are made-to-order, which means Guy Harvey will only produce them based on demand, a production model that leaves zero waste behind. The shirts do require a 30 day lead time to ship. All of your items will ship together and once your order ships, you will receive an email with the tracking. Order 44216133 is set to ship today. I ordered 3 bracelets on 10/24. It is now 11/12 and they have not even shipped. Contacted customer service, told they were “integrating software” and they would get them out as fast as “humanely possible”. Hmmm, so when is that? Nothing was noted in check out about shipping time. Disappointed.

Don't buy their sneakers

I ordered the sneakers from them; two pair. They don't fit so i sent them back. They refuse to give me a refund claiming that it says in small print when you order that they are not returnable. THEY DON'T FIT. And they won't give a refund. Their web page says you can return items. This is a fraud.

I had a horrible experience buying…

I had a horrible experience buying their products - twice. I had years ago tried to buy an order that was to arrive to Mexico, and it never arrived. I had assumed it had been my mistake on the address, and let it go. The second time I ordered from Italy. I even paid for the international shipping, and still, three months later it has not arrived. The tracking service merely says "Order Printed" since July (it's almost October now). Their customer service replies are always as generic as they could be, always around the "I am sorry - I understand you are excited to get your products, I am also a consumer" sort of way. Terribly disappointed in them.

Soluzione del problema.

Giusta causa, però mi chiedo come mai il braccialetto che mi è stato regalato lo scorso Natale, nei giorni scorsi si è deteriorato. Intenzionato a ripararlo, ho recuperato tutte le perle, ed esaminando ciò che rimaneva del braccialetto ho notato che il filo dove sono incastonate le perle, non è di materiale plastico ma semplice cotone, che con l'usura prima o poi si rompe. L'unico pezzo di filo, composto da materiale plastico è quello dove si trova lo scorri filo e il fregio 4ocean. Che non ci sia abbastanza materiale plastico da riciclare ???.
Non è tutto oro quello che luccica.
Ps. Ho rilasciato una recensione sul sito del produttore, ma haimé è stata prontamente rimossa.🤔🤔🤔.

Ciao. Il braccialetto mi è stato regalato da mia figlia lo scorso Natale. L'ho contattata e mi ha dato il dati relativi all'acquisto.
Il braccialetto è stato acquistato in data 18/12/2020, non sul Vostro sito ma su : YogaEssential. All'interno di questo sito, che si trova in Italia e del quale non posso condividere i link nella recensione, come potete verificare anche voi, vendono dei prodotti per lo Yoga, riporta anche la scelta 4ocean e selezionando la voce ci sono in vendita i Vostri braccialetti.
A questo punto non so se il prodotto sia originale, ma questo dovrei chiederlo a loro.

Il problema è stato felicemente risolto. Riceverò a breve un nuovo braccialetto.

Umbrella broke when used for one week!!! Past 60 days so no warranty!!!!

Purchased umbrella and chair last Fall in the off season to support the cause. Used umbrella five or six times this past week and the bottom
Snapped off when twisting as required out of sand

They will not replace (only 60 day warranty) and don’t sell replacement parts, thus I am out a very expensive brand new umbrella that will go to a landfill.

Do not buy an umbrella or chair for that matter unless you can use it right away to see if it holds up within the 60 day period

The pics I sent clearly show the item as brand New as the tags were still on it

Never again will I purchase a product from them. I had ordered $500!!! Worth of items for Christmas presents last year

Update
After leaving this review they sent me a return label and said they will issue a refund after they receive the defective product back.

Now the problem is figuring out how to package the umbrella to return it. What a freaking hassle

Disappointed

I have sent emails, messages through fb messenger, and nobody is responding to give my an updated status on my order. This is my first order and I am disappointed in the lack of customer service.

Fantastic Company & Service

I've loved everything I've ordered from them, I'm wearing 7 of their bracelets as I type this. I accidentally ordered the wrong size and they sent me a shipping label to return the bracelet and sent out a new one. This company rocks and is helping improve our oceans.

Just received my 4ocean support frames…

Just received my 4ocean support frames and masks. They are both excellent and fit me perfectly, even with other masks that I have. One benefit is I use oxygen and it doesn't get in the way of the H20 nose piece and helps hold the tubing in place. So an additional benefit! I will certainly replace when I need replacements or direct others to purchase.
