Inaccurate information according to…

Inaccurate information according to what was quoted. Definitely not the cheapest compared to my previous retailer AGL.
It's actually more expensive by 20%.

Although I found the website to be…

Although I found the website to be slightly clunky, not sure if this was my internet or not, I found the process fairly simple and straight forward, although after trying to do it over the phone and being transferred to the correct department, the call was disconnected on your end saying something along the lines of them being too busy to answer the phone at that time.

Terrible customer service once you have signed up!!

When you sign up to this company they are most helpful. If you need to get in touch with them for any reason once you are a customer - good luck!
I rang and was told I couldn't be put through to anyone, "as I am an existing customer". I would receive a call back from them within two days. Guess what 🦗🦗

I have also tried emailing on a number of occasions to no avail.

I have been trying to have my meter box upgraded with a smart metre, which should be done within 10 days.

Nothing.

Terrible service!
I do not reccomended!

Easy signup proces

It was a very straightforward process changing from AGL to 1st Energy. Still waiting for the app to populate with data from our smart meter but the app looks great and we should save $100 per month.

Richard was great however this was after 3 attempts to get in touch. I sent 2 requests online and received no response, so I rang. The phone message mentioned the 'support' email which I then used. Richard responded very quickly and was great. Therefore, you might be best to update your website with a clear way of contacting 1st Energy

The company assisted me in changing suppliers, it was easy and quick and will probably save me around 25% of my quarterly electricity charge
