I ordered a bike on the morning of March 9th for my daughter's birthday on March 18th. The website stated the bike is dispatched after 3-4 days so based on this ample time for the bike to arrive ahead of the birthday (and why I placed the order). Later that afternoon I got an email saying the bike was out of stock and would arrive from the supplier on March 17th. I emailed the same day informing that at the very least I needed the bike by the 19th, asking if they could make this happen. I had no response to the email. I tried calling every single day thereafter couldn't get through. I again emailed on Fri 13th asking for a response or a refund if they couldn't deliver. Finally I got through to someone on the phone that morning who stated he would update me at the end of the day, no call arrived. I called back and someone else answered and stated the bike will arrive on Monday 17th and they will do next day delivery. I again stated that if they cannot guarantee this to give me a refund, I was reassured. I again called Mon and Tue with no answer. on Thu 19th got an email stating the bike wouldn't be with them until Mar 27th. I have now had to scramble to find a bike (and not the one my daughter wanted) for her birthday. Birthday ruined. Pathetic response.

This review is specifically in relation to Lucy Tood in the Family Law Team. I'd read the great summary of Lucy in the Legal 500 ratings, and my experience has far exceeded what the summary stated. Lucy is an impeccable strategist who seeks appropriate guidance from her senior partners and support network to make informed decisions. My case benefited from her wise council and dedicated hard work (I switched from another reputable firm as my case did not receive the care and attention it needed). Most importantly Lucy shows that she cares about her client. She is understanding and confident and provides the right level of reassurance when it is needed. Like doctors with a good 'bedside manner' it's important in this line of work and in times when Lucy was not involved in my case (during a period of leave) I did not have the same level of confidence. Upon her return I immediately felt like I was in the right hands again and that I would see justice. I would highly recommend Lucy for any child/family proceedings.
