Ordered item from Winstanley's who I rate highly,unfortunately on this occasion I think they have been let down by their suppliers so my item was taking too long to arrive.Phoned up and cancelled order which was handled efficiently and within a minute I had an email from them and Paypal to say the refund was on it's way.
If only all other businesses were this efficient at issuing refunds.

emails could do with being replied to more quickly.

Booked a holiday in June 2025 for august 2026 requested ground floor apartment and assistance at airport because my wife is disabled and cannot climb stairs.Have asked twice now about confirmation of ground floor and been told it's up to the owners and they haven't heard from them.Cannot wait any longer incase need to rebook somewhere else so cancelled holiday and lost deposit of £120.
Jet 2 have now offered to allow me to use deposit on another holiday but would probably have same problem.
I don't believe for one minute that by now Jet 2 couldn't have got a confirmation of ground floor accommodation for a holiday booked in June 2025.

Installer was very good but I don't like how the cable and service box was installed to gable wall.
It's at a height that can be easily reached by anybody walking past and prone to being vandalised

My wife and I are previous customers but cannot see us using them again.I know most of their range is online and not in the shop at Hoylake ( our previous purchases had been from the shop) but how can you possibly buy glasses if you cannot try them on virtually let alone physically?I have previously suggested to them they should have the virtual try on facility but to no avail.

Used to be good but now gone down hill . I'm sure their return policies break the consumer rights Act 2015 , when they force you to wait from seller for a reply in chat.If the goods are not delivered or are faulty you are entitled to a refund straight away.Also often get stuck in a loop when trying to return faulty/ damaged items and yes the delivery drivers lie about item delivered so they don't get penalised for not hitting targets.Also would like to know where the item is coming from before ordering .Used to be great now a shadow of it's former glory days.

Twice in two days didn't knock or ring doorbell and left parcels in full view in front garden and trampled on garden bulbs.

Mg Hs went in with vibration kept a week then was returned without it being fixed and now the clutch was burnt out by them.Car went straight back in for vibration and clutch fix.Six weeks later diagnosed problem with heater box was causing vibration.Before the diagnosis was made they told me several times the car was safe to drive! How can they without knowing what the problem was?In total they had the car 8 weeks and only rang me once after 7 weeks with update.Luckily enough this was a Motobility car and we were able to terminate the contract.Stay away from these jokers,would never go there again.

Bad attitude from lady on phone and was told they would ring to let me know when the car was being dropped off at car dealership.Never rang and when I rang them at 16.00 for an update was told the car had been dropped off at 8.00! Car was in a mess and hadn't been cleaned and the oil level was low.Will never use them again.

Good communication,item arrived on time.

Xcaliber 9 only 4 months old and light use started clicking when pedalling narrowed it down to BB or cranks then singled out movement in cranks after replacing BB with Hope one. Mechanic said could feel it yet only regreased BB.4 1/2 months after noise came back , personally think mechanic overtightened something to stop the noise.Got in touch with Trek again don't really want to know.I can take it in to dealer but will have to pay if they don't find a manufacturing fault.No confidence in the mechanic to sort it out after just regreasing BB.
Could not recommend Trek.Have got 23 year old GT which has never given me any problems.

Had a noise coming from my bike which I couldn't get to the bottom of so after emailing Trek about having it looked at under warranty I took the bike into The Bike Factory to be checked over.When I collected the bike Andy the mechanic who dealt with it said he didn't find much wrong but cleaned and regreased bottom bracket and cranks. Don't know what he done different to me because I had tried this but it certainly solved the problem.
Very professional and courteous would definitely use again.

Seio 5 watch went faulty after 4 months so used watchnation's own chat on their website to report it to them and they said I had to go via Amazon messaging,just as well because they took a long time to answer any of my messages .One message they didn't answer after half an hour.Trying to go through Amazon after 30 days is challenging the links are hard to find.
Started messaging through Amazon and Watchnation implied to me that the watch needed to be worn daily for 8 hours to work properly,what rubbish.When they eventually accepted it was faulty they tried the old routine of directing me to deal with Seiko direct,I pointed out under the 2015 consumer act they were responsible for it.Originally told it could take 3 weeks to have it returned then told it would take 6 weeks after 7 weeks I told them I wanted a full refund as the goods were not of satisfactory quality.I did get a full refund .
They never instigated any communication during the 7 weeks of waiting it was always me contacting them.
Would not deal with them again.

Ordered blue skip and container paint,took 6 days to arrive and when it did the can had brown smears on outside of it When the tin was opened found out it was creosote not paint.Got PayPal involved who got me a refund.

Ordered DT swiss ex511 on Hope Pro 4 hubs with Sapim spokes.Wheels where shipped earlier than expected which is always a bonus,price was the best I could find and having put quite a few miles on them can say build quality is excellent.Would definitely recommend this company.

Came and fitted blinds and they were falling down within 2 hrs.Called them and they came back out and refitted them but within 24 hrs they were coming down again.
First time only screwed them into plaster and second time hit the lintel above window and didn't drill any further.I ended up fitting them properly,awful service will never use again.

Ordered a pair of shoes from them which where in stock and decently priced and they were delivered very quickly.Unfortunately despite basing my sizing on my other pair of Shimano shoes these were too large so I returned them for next size down.Returns process is easy to do without any fuss and once again the were very quickly dispatched and delivered.Wouldn't hesitate to use again,I wish all dealings with cycle shops were this good.

I thought I would be ok buying from them as there were only a few bad reviews but how wrong I was.Bought trio smart air but they only sent me an extension fan with connecting lead.I sent an email telling them of the mistake and had no reply so I went through Paypal to get my money back.Had to pay for return postage and claim it back via 'return on us'option.Despite the company knowing the item was being returned and the order was cancelled they still sent me a fresh email asking for payment for the fans.They then refused to accept the returned item ( I have proof) and then denied they refused to accept it.
I have my refund for item and postage now so don't care what has happened to the returned parcel.
I would hate to think what would happen if an item became faulty and you tried to return it.STAY AWAY from this firm.

Absolutely brilliant clothing for the larger person and their customer service is second to none.I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I would have given them a zero if possible.I booked a hotel and flight through them to Mumbai.What they do however is palm you off to lastminute.com for the flight.When we needed to alter the booking under the free cancellation we thought everything was fine until we realised the flight was still booked.When this was queried with them they said WE would have to contact lastminute to cancel the flight.By this time we had missed the free cancellation period and lost roughly £90 made up off Lastminute charging us £25 even though they tried to deny they charged us a cancellation fee and the rest was lost to Air India.As far as I am concerned if you advertise flight and hotel then you should deal with cancellation of both.
WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN
