Just after new year 2026 my front derailleur gave up and caused so much trouble and potential dangers to me
On my way home on sat 3rd Jan i popped into balfes Streatham my local go to bike shop and asked if they could solve it today
Jack a new member of staff asked Rebecca the manager if he should book it in which would have been very inconvenient as I was no free time later and she said have a look at it as she knew time for me was always a problem
Within 15 mins Jack expertly fixed the problem and explained what the issue was. It was one I had never come across before.
Now the bike rides brilliantly.
Balfes saved the day as usual
