Yokohama Tire Arvostelua 19

I am a shop foreman, bought 4 for my own vehicle during the fall rebate program. All paperwork sent in properly in the correct time frame. Claim denied for a nonsense reason. A Mary Ann in customer relations put all her effort into blowing me off instead of actually helping. No h3lp from higher up also. I have since refrained from selling this brand to my customers. ( how many of them were also slighted?) I assure you, this has cost them a lot more than the $85 rebate.

J'ai monté 2 pneus BluEarth-Es ES32 à l'avant sur une Renault 21 Nevada de 1988, 65CV ; à 4367 km ils arrivent au témoin d'usure. Ma réclamation faite au vendeur AlfaTires GmbH, qui s'est appuyé sur l'expertise de Yokohama Espagne en a déduit que les pneu étaient en parfait état, donc il n'y avait pas de problème ! la durée de vie pour ce type de pneu est de 30000 à 50000 kilomètres. Je n'ai bénéficié d'aucun dédommagement ni de geste commercial. Ce fait entache l'image de marque de la société et est parfaitement scandaleux. PLUS JAMAIS Yokohama.

Ho fatto installare 4 pneumatici Geaolandar G015. Purtroppo credevo che l'officina era all'altezza di fare questo montaggio; non hanno rispettato i riferimenti sui copertoni per le posizioni delle valvole; mi hanno inviato in un'atra officina a 2o Km per fare l'equilibratura e non hanno fatto la convergenza (così come preventivo e pagata in anticipo) posticipandola dopo una percorrenza di 1000Km. Ho contattato la Yokohama per avere un pare tecnico sul montaggio e il posticipo della convergenza. Ad oggi è un mese che non ricevo risposta alcuna nonostante ho mandato mail e compilato form. Mai più questo Brand.

The Yokohama tires are a complete waste of money. I should give them minus but I cannot. I have to change them after less than a year and 38.000 km. Stay away!

Have to say these tyres are brilliant. Fitted new to my mercedes sprinter 3.5t , just done 1000 miles plus around France. Alot of rain! Snd sun.

Esperienza Relativa a due modelli di pneumatici specifi: A539 misura 185/50 r14 montati su una Ford Ka 1.3 prima serie del 1999 e sulle Neova Ad08rs montati su una Seat mii a metano del 2019 ( 185/55 r15 ) e sulle AD09 montate su una SAAB 93 Aero TTiD automatica del 2009, carrozzeria berlina 3 volumi. Partendo dalle a539 sono fenomenali, concepite probabilmente per vetture sotto i 1000 kg di massa, hanno una spalla morbida che aiuta a trovare appoggio e consente di trovare progressivamente il limite sia dello pneumatico che dello stesso veicolo. Come se non bastasse sono molto comode sulle asperità e lodevoli sul bagnato. Le Ad08rs sono state una buona copertura ma, sebbene dichiaratamente semislick, pari merito con le 539 che però sono delle UUHP quindi un gradino sotto le semislick come fascia di prodotto. Passando alle AD09 qui nella misura 225/45 r18 montate sulla SAAB, devo dire eccezionali, silenziose, ottime sul bagnato ed hanno percorso 37.000 km effettivi con angoli convergenza e campanatura totalmente fuori assetto, questo per mia negligenza.

I bought Yokohama tyres on a reputation basis ( all terrain ) two tyres failed in the side walls in less than 3weeks .went directly to qld head office & have been back three other times Absolutely no reply or action ,turns out there. Was.a recall in USA for the same problem

I purchased a 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander in August. It is AWD, and hybrid. It came with Yokohama Geolandar x-cv G057 tires from the factory.

I'm now at 15,600 miles and have the following remaining tread after just rotating front to back.

I will be contacting the Toyota dealership to see if they think this is abnormal. Failing that, I will pursue this with Yokohama directly.

Ho montato delle Yokohama Advan Sport (V105S)
235/50 ZR18 101Y XL, su una Volkswagen Phaeton, è stata una pessima esperienza.
Due delle quattro gomme sono risultate da subito difettose, in particolare una, trasmetteva delle forti vibrazioni all'auto. Me ne sono liberato!

Acquistati n° 4 pneumatici Advan Sport 105 nella misura 225/40 18 92Y. Hanno resistito 30.000 km e poi mi hanno abbandonato, raggiungendo il limite di usura. Per un inconveniente causato da un piccolo chiodo che ha forato il pneumatico, lo stesso è quasi esploso a velocità sostenuta: mi hanno salvato da una brutta avventura solamente l'esperienza di guida e la passione dei motori, anche quella a due ruote, che mi hanno consentito di trarmi d'impaccio. Ho scritto due PEC all'azienda, lamentando il fatto (dopo aver raccolto il consenso del gommista che mi ha montato gli pneumatici) e chiedendo nella seconda PEC almeno un intervento di tipo "commerciale" per il riacquisto di due gomme nuove, ma a questa seconda mail non ho avuto risposta. Eppure, per un evento in qualche modo simile, un'altra azienda era intervenuta secondo le modalità di "sostegno commerciale". Mai più Yokohama, anche se vi avevo erroneamente riposto la mia fiducia!

I purchased 2 Yokohama tyres "BluEarth-GT AE51 225/45 R19 W (96), Reinforced" in September 2022 for £318.88 from blackcircles.com and had them fitted locally. Did circa 5k miles before noticing a significant crack in a tyre wall. I tried to claim under the blackcircles lifetime warranty, sent photograph as requested but was immediately turned down as they decided it was caused by curb damage (an exclusion clause from the warranty).
I complained as there was no reason to reject my claim as there was no evidence of any curb damage on the tyre as confirmed by the photo.
After multiple calls over several days was refunded £25 by blackcircles and the defective tyre was sent to Yokohama for testing, although it will take many weeks before any feedback is expected.
Very disappointed in the tyre the whole process and will not be buying Yokohama tyres again

We have always used Yokahama all weather tyres. And we never, ever got stuck EVER. Then they decided to make them "ECO friendly" by reducing the tread depth. I knew the moment they did this it was a bad idea.
This is the first time we have had deep snow to be able to try the new more thinner eco tread.
All 4 tyres are brand new ready for this snow fall and I am sat here like a duck having only got 5 meters away from my house.
What an absolute let down, and a total disaster for your once fantastic brand. Shame on you Yokahama, I didn't expect this from you above all people.
Oh! well back to the drawing board to find a new brand of tyre that doesn't use the word eco just to save money at the cost of the safety and reliability of what WAS once the best all weather tyres on the market.
I will now switch the engine off and go back into the house absolutely fed up.

I bought 4 new Yokohama tires in 2021and the mileage rating was 60 thousand miles, today February 5th 2023 my right rear tire blew and separated all the way around the outside side wall on the outside and inside for know reason my tire pressure was at 35 lb and I only have 12 thousand miles of tire wear this is bs and I bought the tires from BJ’s wholesale and I’m in fear that a nother one may blow on the way to BJ’s man this a bad safety issue

I believe this organization uses deceptive marketing techniques in an effort to increase their sales. In short, the tire retailer, as their representative, told me that I qualified for a mail in rebate on a set of 4 Advan Sport A/S+ Tires. I was then forced to jump through hoops in an effort to recover the so-called mail in rebate only to have it denied for some trivial reason, which was a complete waste of my time.

Near as I can tell, the only reason my claim was denied is that the vehicle I drive was built by the manufacturer with using slightly different rim sizes (245/45/R20 and 275/40/R20) and Yokohama refused to accept this as a "set of 4".

This company has horrible customer service. I actually took the time to submit a full explanation of my concerns to their marketing department through an online portal supposedly dedicated to their customers. Any respectful company would have made an effort to at least explain themselves. Nearly five weeks later, I have not received any follow-up or explanation from them.

The reality is that there are many good brands in the world and I would suggest that people not waste their time trying to deal with a company with such low standards.
