Maxxis Tires Arvostelua 22

Quality has declined greatly. Replaced a rear Maxxis Aggressor tire with the same again and the new one has the famous Maxxis wobble!

It’s seated fully in the rim and the rim is true yet the tire wobbles significantly. The one it replaced never did.

Their European customer service is nonexistent too.

Premium prices for poor quality products! Will go elsewhere in future.

Como comentan en 3 años los laterales destrozados para cambiarlo. los monte por recomendación gama media realmente son malos cambie los goodyear con 8 años y estan mejor lamentable

Premetto che questa recensione non riguarda l'azienda Maxxis o le sue gomme in genere, ma solo la mia personale esperienza con le Maxxis M6006 120/80-18 da enduro che ho montato al posteriore sulla mia Honda CRF300L: la gomma va bene sugli sterrati, anche su asfalto asciutto nessun problema, ma basta qualche goccia di pioggia e sull'asfalto bagnato fanno semplicemente paura! So che una gomma tassellata sul bagnato non può dare il meglio, ma anche cercando di andare piano e facendo la massima attenzione affrontare una rotonda o una curva è davvero da panico, molto peggio di altre gomme simili provate in precedenza.
Peccato perché su asciutto e fuoristrada vanno bene.

Acquisto gomme MTB assegai e dhr le quali dopo l' accurato montaggio riscontro che girano storte,confermano il difetto di Maxxis anche amici e meccanici MTB di zona, non comprateleee, mai più, tanto fumo e poco arrosto

Ho acquistato 4 pneumatici Maxxis Premitra alla season. Ero molto soddisfatto sia per le prestazioni che per la silenziosità. Purtroppo dopo poco, i due pneumatici montati anteriormente, i tasselli hanno cominciato a rompersi, staccarsi, sbriciolarsi..
Ho percorso meno di 10000 km con guida tranquilla, ma sono da buttare perchè pericolosi.

I've used Maxxis MTB tyres for many years but am over it. They charge a premium price for their tyres but the side knobs continually tear which means a new tyre, as once the side knobs start to go, the handling becomes pretty unpredictable. I'm not a particularly heavy or hard rider and other brands don't do this. I had hoped that Maxxis would address this issue, but they haven't, after many years, whereas other brands have continually improved their tyres.

I bought a new Merida bike complete with Maxxis Detonator 32c tyres. Surprisingly they punctured twice on the first three club rides. I appreciate that it may not be the best time of year for avoiding punctures but I expected them to hold out a bit longer. Given that this bike is capable of all year round riding, they should be able to cope better than they already have. Not impressed so far.

Ho montato le PREMITRA AP3 ALL SEASON, misura 225/45 R17 ormai da un paio di mesi. Ottimo rapporto qualità/presso. Per adesso tutto ok, aggiornerò quando arriverà il brutto tempo.

Maxxis Detonators 700 x 32 came with my new road bike. Very sticky feel to them which wore off after about 100 miles. Three punctures in two months. Tiny bits of flint seem to stick to them and then bed in causing tiny hole.
I can't be doing with punctures so I have replaced them.

Paid around £50 for a DHR2 tire and on the first decent downhill run the side wall of the tire punctured with hole that was too big to be mended/bunged. I wasn't riding that hard and have never had tire fail like this on me before, let alone on the first run. I returned to Maxxis and they weren't interested. Poor service when they are marketed as one of the best tires on the market and they fail so badly so easily. I'll just pay less for a tire that is cheaper to replace rather than shelling out for what I thought was quality and up for a decent level of riding.

Pneumatici di bassa qualità; uno si è gonfiato a fatica e quelli montati sulle ruote anteriori hanno avuto bisogno di molti pesi per bilanciarli. In futuro sceglierò un'altra marca.

Compre unos neumáticos maxxis premitra all season y me han durado 12000 km.
Que decepción.
Se ha descarnado la goma y tramitar la garantía, cuesta más que otros nuevos, pero de otra marca.
Cuidado con las premitra todo tiempo.
No cumplen, solo son baratas.

después de muchas compras como profesional. por un error e una foto, cambian el color del artículo y llega otro. no se hacen responsables de la devolución del artículo, no me solucionan la incidencia 12 correos y me contestan cuando les sale de los narices (Alexia atiende)
le pido cada día un enlace al producto que ofertaban sin respuesta.
Mí cliente cabreado yo también por que no hay derecho a todo esto y menos el trato.

These tyres came on my hybrid bike I’ve had for six months now, I’ve been out on it about six times, not much as I have two bikes this bike I like to use on long runs, but twice now I’ve got punchers maybe I’m unlucky but I use my other bike lots more and only get occasional punchers.
The tyres are quite and run well on flat tarmac in the dry but wet you need to be easy on the brakes and not go to hot into corners !
