Michelin Arvostelua 88

Purchased two Michelin tyres from Asda tyres. On the Asda Tyres site they showed a claim back £10 offered by Michelin. Also Asda had given £10 discount as an Easter promotion. So of course Michelin used this as an excuse to turn down their own claim back offer.

Ho acquistato 4 pneumatici Pneumatici Estivi Gomme MICHELIN 225/45 R17 94Y PRIMACY 4 XL *(BMW), promettevano rumore esterno "A" 68 db - Aderenza sul bagnato "A" - Consumo carburante "A" - molto felice per l'acquisto, (premetto che il 90% dei Km. fatti è in Autostrada Roma-Valdichiana e Roma-Caianello viaggiando quasi sempre con Cruise Control a Km. 115 - salvo qualche rallentamento), ma dopo 5.000 Km. ho potuto riscontrare che il consumo carburante medio è di Km. 12,8 al litro, in più mi sembra che il rumore del rotolamento delle gomme sia superiore alle vecchie gomme di altra marca e un consumo carburante su 10.000 Km. che era di Km. 13,7 al litro (consumo dichiarato dalla casa Classe "D" - aderenza bagnato "B" - Rumore "B", il rumore di questi pneumatici ricordo che era inferiore - Conclusione, io che ho sempre usato pneumatici Michelin, ad eccezione delle gomme trovate montate sul veicolo al momento dell'acquisto, devo dire che sono rimasto molto deluso e d'ora in poi non acquisterò più gomme da questa casa.

I have just purchased my 6th set of PS4S tyres across many years and many car brands and types including two Lamborghinis and now a Ferrari.

Fantastic tyres for both all round grip in any weather and very good longevity.

Michelin have never failed to pay out on their cash back offers which reduces the initial concern about expense.

Would thoroughly recommend.

the promotion offer took too long to be approved and was then followed up a few days later by someone else from michelin demanding my full name home address my employment details and my gender before they could make a payment to my bank, absolutly ridiculous,next time il be buying continental or good year.

Great quality tyres just a wee bit expensive

I bought 4 new Michelin Crossclimate 3, after numerous positive reviews and being constantly advertised £100 off on Social Media.

I bought my tyres from my local small business tyre fitter, and was very disappointed to find out that Michelin won’t honour their offer if you use and support a local small business after trying to apply for the rebate !

At no point on the advertisement of the offer did it suggest it was only available via select fitters etc.

I have contacted their support who whilst on the social media post offered a positive response that there would be a solution, the attitude changed when it was a private email and they said they can not help me !

Very disappointing Experience.

The Michelin Premicy 4 was on a Kia Sportage I bought with 13,400 miles on them in Jan 24.
3rd service today with 28300 on the odometer.
On the health check at Lookers Kia, the front tyres still had 4mm tread on them, with the technician stating they were advisory to replace. However he also stated that these should be checked in about 2,000 miles to see if they were down to 3mm.
That would give me 30,000 on the front tyres.
5.5 mm left on the two rear tyres, so potentially over 30,000 could be on those.
I am replacing the front tyres Friday 5th December at Costco, at £155 per tyre.
The cost per mile, based on that price and 28,000 miles is about 1/2 a penny per mile.
That is cheap motoring for tyres.

Another dissatisfied customer. Bought full set with promise of cashback to then be rejected directly by Michelin.

Michelin ps5 better than the ps4 mine lasted an extra 7k and did 25k mileage on the front compared to ps4 lasting 18k
Great Tyres

Utter junk. Used once. Very difficult to add pressure to the tyres. A lot of effort needed. Pump is also not very stable unless on perfectly flat ground. Pressure gauge read 3 psi too high. Used once and chucked in the bin.

customre service refused to properly engage with me on a complaint about premature tyre wear. i supplied all the evidence and they promised to help initially but just kept on ignoring my messages and now, i've given up as i was spending way too much time on it - well over a year and absolutely nothing to show for it.

Based on this experience, be aware that if you purchase Michelin tyres expecting the support of their customer service in the event of any issues, be prepared to be completely on your own. The reality of their post-sale support, in my case, has been one of repeated evasion and a failure to honour their initial commitment to help me.
I dont understand companies who take this line - ok, so they dont have to bear the ££ cost of honouring a warranty claim, but they lose the customer for life.

I have had Michelin tyres on my car from when I first bought it new. I have just replaced the front tyres due to normal wear. I have upgraded from Primacy 4 to Primacy 5. I have no complaints with the tyres and rate them very highly.

UPDATE: Michelin Support finally came through and agreed to pay the cashback. Took up a LOT of time and effort, probably more than it was worth, but eventually they arrived at the right decision.

I've been buying Michelin tyres for years due to their cashback offers.

Normally, my local garage just supplies me a paper invoice with the price I paid for tyres which is the same place everywhere else charges, like BlackCircles etc, I submit that, they pay the cashback. Everyone's happy.

However because I had to use a big-name garage chain this time who massively over inflate their tyre cost then drop it down to what everywhere else charges with a discount line on the invoice, Michelin have denied the claim on the basis I received another discount.

I literally paid exactly what I always pay for tyres, and I've probably brought in excess of 20 tyres for various cars off them over the last couple of years alone.

I’ve used Michelin Cross Climate 2 tyres for many years on my old Range Rover and find them exceptionally good on pretty much any contaminated road surface, whether it’s rain, sleet or compacted snow. I bought a relatively new Range Rover Sport Autobiography Dynamic recently and I changed all four tyres to the Cross Climate 2 - I would have liked the Cross Climate 3 but unfortunately, those tyres are not available in a 22” rim, I have great confidence in the tyres, sure more costly than others, but these are not a budget tyre - I’ve always got excellent wear out of all my Michelin tyres, although I do replace them well before they reach the minimum legal requirement, in my opinion and experience, I honestly think they are the probably the best on the market.

Possibly the worst customer experience i've ever received . I hope nobody has to go through a warranty claim for a manufacturer issue with all 4 tyres at the same time.

Had Pilot Sport 4's on my Fiesta ST. Fantastic tyre all round. Just got PS5's fitted to replace them and rate them very highly. Very clean sidewall too which I like. Michelin also gave me £40 cashback which was a nice touch

Just got 4 Michelin pilot tyres and they drive and grip very well on my Mustang i would highly recommend these tyres.

i had two of these climate tyres previously and found they were a lot less noisier than the continental, so i have now had all four changed to climate tyres and now i can hear the radio without having it blaring,plus they are as good in bad weather as they are good,highly recommend these tyres.

Spent nearly £900 on four Michelin tyres after being told I’d get at least £40 cashback. Filled in the claim form as advised, only to be told I’m not eligible due to tyre size – something buried in the small print, never mentioned at the point of sale.

This is classic false advertising. Big company using technicalities to wriggle out of a simple promise. Totally unacceptable. Won’t be buying Michelin again. Judging by the 2.8 rating, I’m not the only one

Over 28 days since I made a claim that was accepted. Three emails to notify of non receipt after 28 days expired and all ignored. I have NOT received my €35
