Fantastic service from Zatchels! So pleased to be able to support a UK business that produce beautiful hand made leather bags. I saw a bag in the York shop window, but unfortunately it had just shut and I was heading home the next day. It was also limited edition and not on their website. I sent a message on the Saturday via Messenger and by the Wednesday I had received the bag. I was also thrilled to hear it was only 1 of 8 made! Communication was perfect. Can’t fault the service and the quality of the bag is fantastic! Would highly recommend Zatchels UK!

Please thank Amy for making my beautiful bespoke sugarcube bag which arrived today. It is breathtakingly gorgeous and its inaugural outings will be to the Royal Albert Hall and then Westminster Abbey in a couple of week’s time. Enough space for all my essentials but small enough to be held cutely in one hand. The finish looks very expensive, despite it being a very fair price. I couldn’t be more pleased with it and will return for other styles and colours without hesitation.

My second bag and second review in a month. Absolutely delighted with my ivy green city backpack. Love the smell and feel of the real leather and the leather used is actually from Clyde Tannery which is close to wear I live in Glasgow so my wee bags started off born and bred in Scotland. The colour is absolutely amazing, so deep and rich, exactly how it shows up online and it matches a lovely pair of boots I've just purchased too so I'm very happy. Again, amazing delivery time for such beautiful hand made products. Another shout out to Brian for his support and help in customising my bag and also to the lovely Angie for the care and attention she has given to another of my bags, thanks Angie, I am in actual love, it's stunning and the craftsmanship is outstanding. Great value for money too, worth every penny. Working on my next bag, looking for another customised creation which Zatchels really do go above and beyond with.

We visited the shop in York & were amazed at the variety & the quality of the stuff on show. In the end i ordered identical bags for myself & my fiance, which we wanted customised quite a bit. After a week, We were sent 5 designs which we found hard to chose from so we ordered 2 designs which we liked best
When they arrived, they were absolutely stunning! Beautiful soft leather, immaculate stitching better in real life than the design.

Ordered a handbag as a gift as they had seen my existing Zatchel and loved it. Bought a maroon colour Zatchel, arrived on time and is excellent quality. My friend is delighted and will surely be using for many years to come (mine is 6 years old and still going strong). Made in the UK too!

It said online that the yellow bag is made of leather. It does not look like leather, does not feel like leather, does not smell like leather. The press stud closure does not stay closed. The shade of yellow is not the same bright daffodil colour as shown online. The lead time said two weeks, it was longer. I tried to track delivery, the website directed me to something called SHOP which told me that the bag had delivered that morning at 6.30am Nothing had delivered meaning I felt worried/stressed. Eventually found a number to call Zatchells, lady told me bag still being made so not sure why SHOP gave me incorrect info? Bag arrived as the lady told me it would. Overall disappointed as explained why above.
Will use as a shopper from time to time. An expensive mistake

I am giving Zatchels 5* because the satchel is beautifully made! I forgot to add a slider-strap and they fixed it right away. My only niggle is that I had to wait an extra couple of weeks for the bag because I bought mine in sale and thus they had more orders to complete. I don't mind because quality is worth waiting for, but just bare in mind their turn out maybe longer than expected but -- I love my zatchel!

I bought a Luna bag from the store a few years ago. When the catch broke it was replaced very quickly. I needed a slightly bigger bag to take my phone and popped into the store again. From the website I’d already chosen a style and colour but the really helpful lady suggested a much better alternative and I bought a Luna. I really liked the Festival bag and contacted Customer Services who were super helpful and quick to respond and I now have 3 beautiful leather bags in different colours which all comply with stadium restrictions on size. Everything I need fits inside. I’ve had a load of compliments about how well made they are and thoroughly recommend, especially with the lifetime guarantee.

I bought a satchel from these folks some years ago and love it to bits, literally. So when the strap broke I was a bit frustrated. After trying in vain to work out how to get it fixed I contacted them and they reminded me of their lifetime guarantee, which I had utterly forgotten.

In a few days they cheerfully replaced the strap and I am a very happy customer.

Not only did they do this but the interactions with the company were so cheerful and no-nonsense I was moved to give this review.

I have a green sugar cube grande bag which is a great bag - perfect size for every day use and very well made. The personal service you get from Zatchels is excellent - they made my strap to order so it is the perfect size for me. They respond very quickly to your emails and couldn't be more helpful. I can highly recommend them and am going to invest in another bag from them soon.

Knowing that each bag is handmade to order, I contacted Zatchels on the off chance that they might be able to do a rush order for my Mum who had left it very late to decide on an outfit for her Granddaughters wedding.

They really couldn't have been more helpful and kind! They went out of their way to make sure that the bag was made, and delivered, within 48 hours. Tammy on customer service was so friendly and kind.

I also have a Zatchels bag that is over 10 years old now. The quality is outstanding, and it still looks as good as new.

Received my satchel today. I am in awe!! This bag is fantastic, the stitching is perfect even the way it was packaged was great.

Great experience with Zatchels, fantastic quality and quick to respond to emails with any queries. The only thing I would have liked is an extra inside or outside pocket, as it is just the tote bag for such a high price but other than that no complaints. The quality is flawless!

Yet again, the team at Zatchels went above and beyond with a request of mine, to adapt my bag as I wanted specific changes to the fastening. Nothing is too much bother. It's service like this that will make me come back again (this is my third purchase already ;))

Shoppers be aware of the extremely long turn around time when you purchase from Zatchels. Placed my order on 21st July, waited till 15th August to follow up with customer service, waited for 2 days with no reply. Cancelled my order on 17th August, 1 day short from 20 working days.

Honestly Zatchels has great products, I love the classic satchel I ordered for my mum for mother's day gift this year so I placed this order for a mini satchel for myself and eyeing on other colours and a few other styles I really keen to get in future. However waiting for 4 weeks for one bag is absolutely ridicules. I felt I am force to turn to Cambridge Satchel for their The Mini satchel as it shows "In stock and ready to dispatch" on their website.

Received refund from Zatchels on 17th August with an apology email from Teresa from CS. Teresa is amazing, really appreciate her helps with my first order and discount code for my second order.

Overall, other than the turn around time Zatchels is a great company. However I will not return again until they can better manage this on going issue with turn around time.
