Been an easy journey so far. Just a phone call after being referred by a GP and plain sailing since. Keep them updated by phone and everything gets authorised for your next visit. Very helpful on the phone, never obstructive or unfriendly. Still ongoing, one surgery done, more possibly to come. Can't recommend them enough. Waiting list on the NHS is 5 years.

Phoned up and was dealt with quickly, politely and very efficiently.
WPA are easy to deal with and the staff all sound knowledgeable and helpful.

I had a terrible experience with WPA. For the first year I did not have to open a claim. However, just after first coverage renewing, I had open a claim because my nasal congestions were getting worse and more frequently. Initially I had no issue till the day I showed up on the hospital for my first appointment. I started been asked for the approval code, which I had not been given by WPA, even though they had approved my consultation. Out of the blue I was facing a payment of almost £300 and I had make a phone call under huge stress to get the code that I was supposed to have received.
After the consultation things got pretty bad. Since the doctor identified the risk of having surgery, they immediately started asking me to prove that the nasal polypus were not a pre existing condition. How could I know if they were there before if I never had a consultation with NHS checking my nose?? So, they asked the for my NHS clinical record, which proved I had not seek for assistance for this matter.
Then they wanted me to get the transcription from my phone call where I firstly asked for WPA assistance regarding my congestions. They alleged the file says I started suffering from this condition a year ago, like if someone could keep track from their nasal problems on a calendar. So, I understood WPA was doing everything they could to block any further service. I ended up feeling like I was a criminal trying to take advantage of them for a problem I did not even know I had before seeking for assistance.

Ashleigh was so lovely with me. When you are not sure about an ailment it is the best when the person on the line takes the time to help you understand what you need to do to follow protocol. She was so patient and explained everything well. Thank you WPA for employing people who care 😊

Absolutely the worse insurance company out there.
They will squirm out of paying for whatever reason they can get away with.
Unhelpful and just basically supplying a policy unfit for purpose.
Do not waste your money with this dishonest company
