I express my disappointment with the aftersales service I have received following my purchase of vehicle MG3 Hybrid Trophy, LC75XR0
On the day I collected the vehicle, the cap covering the driver's door lock fell off while I was driving home. I reported the issue immediately, expecting that such a minor defect would be resolved promptly.
Unfortunately, since then I have experienced nothing but delays, excuses, and inaccurate information regarding the replacement of this part. Despite repeated follow ups, I have been given conflicting explanations and assurances that have not been fulfilled. What should have been a simple warranty issue has become an unnecessarily frustrating
experience.
When purchasing a vehicle from a reputable dealership, I expected a far higher standard of customer care. The lack of communication and failure to resolve such a straightforward problem has left me questioning your commitment to after-sales service.
I would appreciate an explanation for why this matter has taken so long to resolve and, more importantly, confirmation of when the replacement door lock cap will be supplied and fitted. I trust this issue can now be dealt with promptly and without any further delays.

Since writing the above, the issue has been resolved. It is a pity such small matter has soured what overall has been a very good experience .

We bought the new Hyundai Inster 2 from Michael Webb at Wilsons.
Having never owned an electric vehicle, we were keen to see what they had to offer. Michael was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable and talked us through every aspect, including a test drive and was able to confidently answer any questions we had.
We were made to feel welcome and relaxed in the showroom and were free to look around the vehicles for as long as we wanted without any pressure of sales.
The Inster 2 is such a fabulous car and like a Tardis, small outside but incredibly roomy inside fully packed with every extra you can think of. Full battery gets you around 220 miles which is more than enough for our needs and is super simple to charge.
We were told that the vehicle could take upto 4 weeks to be ready however we had the vehicle in 1 week , great customer service !
I would highly recommend Michael as a Sales guy to contact at Wilsons.

I have collected my used Corsa GS Line electric today and dealt with Harry Hope. I live in Swanley near Dartford so was relying on an accurate description of the car and the personalised video which Harry sent over. He followed me up with a call after my initial enquiry and I paid a reservation deposit to secure the car . I then contacted Harry to confirm I wanted to collect the car today . He was very professional, polite, and a credit to your sales team. He answered my emails on his day off and arranged for the car to be serviced and MOT’d and cleaned ready for me to collect . The preparation was of a very high standard and I am delighted with my purchase . I am a ex Ford car sales exec and General Sales Manager which I did for 39 years . Harry did not disappoint even though he was not aware at first that I had worked in the motor trade for many years. So it’s a ten out of ten from me with the service I received and the car too

I had a very disappointing experience with Wilsons MG of Epsom, particularly regarding their customer service and handling of a deposit refund.
After deciding to withdraw from a purchase, I was advised that my deposit would be refunded within 5–7 working days, which I fully understood given standard fraud checks. However, after waiting the full period, I discovered that the refund had not even been processed.
While I appreciate that mistakes can happen, what followed was even more frustrating. We waited another few days of no proactive communication. I was left chasing for information on multiple occasions, and given different reasonings such as our 'MD has to authorise but has been in an all day meeting' to 'Accounts weren't aware of the refund' & a 'there was a 'glitch in the banking system'. The Sales Lead promised it would be sorted via bank transfer prior to the weekend, only to call to confirm it wasn't going to happen.
The lack of transparency, urgency and lack of apology was concerning. At times it genuinely felt as though the refund would not have been processed at all had we not continued to follow it up. I would like to thank Tracy & Beth from the customer care team who provided support where possible. After a final chase, we now understand a transfer has been made and we await receipt our end...
Overall, this experience has been defined by poor communication, lack of accountability, and unfulfilled promises. I would strongly urge others to proceed with caution and ensure everything is clearly documented if dealing with placing a deposit.

My experience with this dealership has been extremely disappointing and stressful.
From the beginning, I reported issues with the vehicle shortly after purchase. Despite several visits, long journeys between Bristol and London, and repeated attempts to explain the problems, I often felt that my concerns were not being taken seriously. I spent significant time and money travelling and lost income from my private hire work, which is my only source of income.
Following the replacement of the front camera, new problems appeared, including the Lane Departure Prevention system no longer functioning correctly. I repeatedly raised concerns regarding the speed sign recognition system and unusual dashboard noises, but was initially informed that no faults could be found.
Communication was also frustrating. I made numerous attempts to contact the dealership and had to send multiple emails before receiving responses. At times, I felt ignored and left without clear updates regarding my complaint.
Buying a new vehicle should provide confidence and peace of mind. Unfortunately, this experience has caused considerable stress, disappointment, loss of earnings, and a loss of trust in the dealership. I sincerely hope that no other customer has to go through the same experience.
