Outstanding… A company, no matter how long they have been established are only as good as the staff they hire and in our experience, Thomas is one of the best. He has gone above and beyond in assisting us in choosing and buying a car from this dealership. You could not meet a more accommodating gentleman and his after sales care has also been superb.

Matt was helpful and provided prompt communication throughout the buying process. Upon inspection, we noticed a problem in that there was a problem with paint missing on the side of the driver’s door, Matt assured us that a touch up kit would be ordered and posted to us as a matter of urgency.

This is an ongoing saga which I will be taking to the Ombudsman. On 31st December 2025 Wilson's sold me an MG3 hybrid at a premium price. It was ex demo and I was informed it had around 1800 miles on the clock. When I looked at the paperwork post purchase it was more like 4500 and I was given a trivial £200 to compensate. This was just the beginning. In late February I was asked to bring it in for a minor adjustment - recall. I subsequently learned that the recall had been issued by MG on 17/11 i.e 6 weeks prior to the car being sold to me and, of course, I was not informed about this, which I understand to be illegal. About a week after this adjustment, the car developed another fault and was taken in for repair again. I asked for a refund as I did not feel this car to be safe. I have been told that as I asked after 30 days post purchase, they reject this. However, I did not know about the recall until the garage called to ask me to bring it in. The recall was serious and could have been fatal in a head on collision and I was allowed to take this from the showroom and drive it for 8 weeks without knowing I was driving a death trap.
"In September 2025, Euro NCAP crash tested the MG3 and uncovered a “troubling” issue with the mechanism of the front seats. The driver’s seat came unlatched from the rails mid-collision, causing it to twist and resulting in lower leg injuries for the crash dummy. This also caused the dummy’s head to ‘bottom out’ on the steering wheel, something that would also be likely to result in injury. Responding to the results Euro NCAP took the unprecedented decision to advise consumers to avoid buying the MG3 altogether."
The finance company has found in my favour but will not payout. Hence, I have no option but to take this to the Ombudsman to assert my rights under the consumer Act 2015. I am assured that they have investigated this but, all I have been offered is a couple of free services which I am not sure I would trust to be safely carried out either.
I would never recommend Wilson's to anyone looking for a reliable and safe drive- please do the right thing and take responsibility for your actions.

I found the Sales Person very professional but personable. Nothing was too much trouble. Provided all the information and more about the car I was interested in. Ensured the car met my satisfaction prior to purchase.

Very poor experience. The car I purchased developed an intermittent fault shortly after purchase, and despite providing recorded evidence, the dealership has refused to acknowledge there is an issue.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a vehicle sold by a dealer must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. As I reported the fault just over 30 days after purchase, I was eventually offered a refund — but it was £1,500 less than the amount I originally paid, which I found completely unacceptable. The issue still hasn't been resolved as no one contacts you.
Communication has also been extremely poor. Emails regularly go unanswered, and I have had to repeatedly chase for updates and responses throughout the process.
Overall, this has been a very stressful and disappointing experience, particularly when it comes to aftersales support. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership.
