Wickes - Tunbridge Wells Arvostelua

1. We used the in store designer hoping that they would help guide us what to do with the space we had. They knew the products but not much help with regard to design and planning. We’ve ended up with a door of which we can only open 25% of the way before it is blocked by the sink.
2. Delivered half the order but told us time again the order had been complete. This delayed our renovations, caused us a lot of aggro and money (+ 6 weeks of chasing + additional time on build)
3. Eventually the other half of the order turned up. Twice. Two months apart.
4. Quality of products poor. Shower turns on.. on its own accord… 2am is its favourite time. Shower door doesn’t fit in its frame and so en-suite is soaked every time. Drawer in under sink cabinet doesn’t open. Drain cover in shower doesn’t fit over drain.
5. Really challenging to get things sorted through customer service.

In summary - looks great - but really poor quality and issues with functioning from day 1. Awful communication between teams within the company.

Wickes Tunbridge Wells.
I was really disappointed to have been incorrectly charged. Staff were informed that the timber was 'shiplap' at the till, but when I checked the receipt afterwards I had been charged a higher price for 'Floorboards'. I have photographs to prove that it was not a floorboard ( a higher priced item!) Please listen to your customers, Wickes or price items with a barcode to avoid poor service.

What I nice place to visit, so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable too.
Special mention for Lily S. a real asset to the company.

What can I say here, well nothing positive regarding my recent very dissapointing delivery experience from Wickes in Tunbridge Wells.
I expected much much better....
When you spend over £400 on plasterboard, kitchen board, and polystyrene insulation sheets, you would expect them to arrive wrapped in plastic to prevent damage from rain, common sense wouldsurely make that an obvious given, but NO. My 23 sheets of plasterboard were not wrapped in plastic to protect them from the rain, or placed on a pallet, they arrived loose in a Transit van, and the delivery guy had no explanation and couldn't understand why they were being delivered in this way. If it wasn't for my wife suggesting they go straight into the garden shed, they would have been left exposed to the rain in the street, not even with a pallet for protection. As for the polystyrene sheets, well they were loose too, not even bundled together, and when the poor delivery driver took them out of the van, three of the sheets flew away down the street !!!!!
I mean COME ON WICKES,where's your common sense ?????
But that's not all, I then received a call from Liam the store manager telling me that two of the polystyrene sheets were badly damaged, and they would be delivered on another day, and as a result of this my wife had to cancel an important Doctors appointment because of this delivery .
I shall be making an official complaint, as I expected better!!!!

Visited Wickes earlier today for timber post garden edging. Served by Chelsea who was very knowledgeable, polite and helpful. She is a credit to Wickes! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great selection of products at competitive prices. Staff on hand to help. Tasha was particularly polite and welcoming.

Tasha was very efficient and helpful, and knew exactly where our item would be. She and Steve, at the counter, were a great advertisement for Wickes

Tasha was helpful in getting my click and collect, though why you need a collection number as well as an order number I can't imagine. Click and collect item had order number written on it. But I also had to go through my email to find the collection number.!??
That could be easily fixed.

Great experience - Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I was served by Chelsea who is a credit to Wickes. Would shop here again. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I went to the tunbridge wells branch and was met with lily who had the biggest smile. She was really helpful in getting me the things I needed. Lovely to visit a shop where the staff are helpful and friendly

Great product choice. Great price. The Wickes TradePro discount is excellent. Special mention to Lacey, Tasha & Chelsea who always great you with a smile and ask how your day is going. Unfortunately I don't know the other staff member's names, but everyone always appear to be a credit to Wickes. Thank you.

Went to purchase paint at wickes Tunbridge Wells Tasha was so helpful & even carried it to the car for me!

We were having trouble finding the right type of equipment for a home DIY project and spoke to a lovely lady named Tasha who was very helpful and gave great advice, made the whole experience much less stressful. Great store and team will definitely be going back for my next project!

Not as big or has as much stock as the B&Q further down the road. But some cheaper items! Staff here seem nicer too.
Thank you to Tasha for helping me find the wood filler. Couldn’t spot it to save my life!

Super helpful and friendly staff. Especially a young lady named Tasha.
She was very pleasant, happy to help, and helped me find what I was looking for in a flash.

I went to buy some paint samples and was assisted by Gracie. Knowledgable and helpful, she got the the paint mixed that I wanted and seemed interested in the project I am doing. Really good customer service.

I couldn't find the trims, a helpful store member called Tasha spotted I was struggling and walked me to them! Thank you.

Everybody is always so helpful in the Tunbridge Wells Store, and staff know where everything is. The store is clearly set out. Always service with a smile on the checkouts, today from Tasha :-)
