Wickes - Bridgend Arvostelua 

My second visit of the month to pick loft insulation at discounted price at the Bridgend store. On both occasions all staff couldn’t do enough for us. On our first visit they paused restocking shelves to open up access to the aisle we needed. On the second visit a member of staff stopped what she was doing and helped us to ‘man’handle the loft rolls.
Wickes is definitely the best DIY store for service.

Great kitchen designer, absolutely terrible customer service. Takes 30 min to answer call then just get fobbed off with incorrect information. Some parts damamged and would not refund terrible.

Steve Jones Installations have just finished installing our new Wickes kitchen. Brilliant experience. Very skilled, polite and tidy. Installation went like a breeze. Nothing too much trouble for Steve & his son Ross. Grateful for all the help and advice in what was a difficult install. These two are the best. Would recommend them to anyone. Also mention to Curtis Dower Sales at Bridgend Very helpful throughout .

Recently purchased a kitchen with Wickes, design process was great from start to finish, everyone was really helpful especially our designer Curtis who made the process effortless and actually quite fun! We decided to go with Wickes fitting although the wait time was longer than we were expecting we wanted an all in one service. We had an excellent fitter who did everything for us! Yes we had some delivery issues but that’s to be expected and we have purchased kitchen elsewhere and had more problems. A few items damaged but the fitter ordered replacements and these came in a few days! Overall great service and will be back for the bathroom in the new year!

Poor performance all round having had small designed kitchen that was fine but getting additional units a nightmare nothing held in store delivery 10 days , when they failed to deliver on time customer service is Indian call centre who just trotted out your delivery is today between 0700 and 1900 this despite message saying delivery between 1130 and 1530 totally ignored what was said, worse than the worst AI experience, exceptionally annoying experience

Warning!!! Do not order online at Wickes if you cannot check your delivery within 30 days, bought my house 2 years ago and been doing it up bit by bit with 90% of materials from there. Had a kitchen delivered on pallets and put in the garage until the fitter could put it in, 2 weeks after the 30 day deadline fitter called me to say £500 damaged, went into local store, they tried to help but couldn’t as I ordered it online. I and they called customer service basically told to go away. Please don’t order online go in store as the manager has the discretion to help, online you have no rights as the person on the end of the phone won’t give you the time of day. I don’t usually do anything like this but I feel so strongly about it I don’t want anyone else having to pay money out when they receive damaged goods by a hired delivery service. I was told in store they use Citysprite and DPL and that Citysprite are good the other gets loads of complaints. I really hope this helps someone not to be financially out of pocket. I wish I could add photographs.

We ordered and paid for a kitchen several weeks ago and it is due to be delivered tomorrow.. We received a text from them yesterday confirming delivery!

At 1pm today I receive a call from the customer service department advising the kitchen is discontinued and will not be delivered!!!

Just to set the scene, our existing kitchen has been removed and we have tradesmen booked to fit the new kitchen and will now have to recompense them for lost income..

Wickes have had the order for several weeks, why less than 24hrs before delivery they suddenly find the kitchen is discontinued? Something seriously not right with this explanation and why the timeframe!!

I have had to chase the store for an explanation and it was 5pm before their store manager actually took my telephone call!!

I asked if they they could offer a replacement kitchen - different colour as a resolution and their response is we will have to pay for a replacement kitchen whilst the first is being refunded...I think not!!

Furthermore, the store cannot refund the kitchen unless sanctioned by customer services and customer services are saying the store manager has full autonomy in respect of resolution of complaints; we are going around in circles with this.

Wickes you are in breach of contract and your handling of this case is beyond dire. You have shown no flexibility and customer service..

I trust anyone looking for home improvements will think twice about trusting their order and money to a company with such low morals and non existent customer service...
