The quality of the logs is very good
The quality of the logs is very good. The delivery driver was excellent, extremely helpful in bringing the logs up the drive to the log store. Where there is room for improvement is in the notification of the timing of the delivery. This was very short but as I am retired it was not s problem. For someone who works however this could have proved problematic.

We're very sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating this must have been. We appreciate that having to arrange collection and onward transport of your crate yourself due to vehicle access issues is far from the convenient delivery service you expected.
We're also sorry to learn that you feel there was a lack of communication from us following the delivery issue. This is certainly not the level of customer service we aim to provide, and we apologise for any disappointment caused.
Your feedback is important to us, and we sincerely regret that this experience has left you feeling unable to order from us again.

Great products and price let down by a poor delivery service. They didn’t turn up on the day they were supposed to, I had a series of texts pushing the time back up until 8pm when the delivery was cancelled. No explanation or apology. It then showed up next day with a solo driver who struggled with the heavy load almost sliding off the back of his truck. Surely pallets weighing upwards of a ton need two people?!
I would recommend finding another delivery company…

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
We're pleased to hear that you were happy with our products and pricing. However, we're very sorry to learn about your delivery experience and understand your frustration.
Having your delivery repeatedly delayed throughout the day, only for it to be cancelled late in the evening without an explanation or apology, is understandably disappointing. We also appreciate your concerns regarding the delivery the following day and the difficulties faced by the driver handling such a heavy load.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. While we're glad your order was ultimately delivered, this is not the level of service we want our customers to receive.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for sharing your feedback. We value all customer comments and will ensure your concerns are passed on to the relevant teams for review.

Dear Customer,
Thank you for taking the time to speak with me yesterday.
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the experience you have had with us. After speaking with you, I completely understand your frustration and disappointment, particularly with your delivery being left with your neighbor and the inconvenience this caused when you then had to handball the goods to your own property as they were causing an obstruction.
We also fully appreciate your concerns regarding the communication throughout the process. As we discussed, this situation could have been avoided with clearer and more timely communication, and we are genuinely sorry that this was not the case.
This is certainly not the level of service we want to provide to our customers, and we understand why you were so unhappy. Your feedback regarding the communication gaps has been highly appreciated, and I have assured you that we will take this seriously and treat it as a priority. We will use your experience to look at where we fell short and how we can improve moving forward.
We never want our customers to feel that they no longer want to use us, and we are truly sorry that your experience has left you feeling this way.
Thank you again for giving me the time to speak with you openly and for sharing your concerns and feedback with me. I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to listen to you and address the issues you raised.
Once again, please accept our sincere apologies for the frustration and inconvenience caused.
Kind regards,
ML

Wood Quantity
Firstly, delivery was excellent - paid for a specific date, and arrived on schedule with good Comms. However, what wasn't so great was the content of the bags- I have ordered the same bags (20l Hessian) for the last 3 years and the quantity has definitely reduced this year- every bag without exception was about one third less wood than last year's. 20l is 20l....
However, following the review the company reached out for some further information and have provided compensation via some further bags- great service.

Hi Neil,
Thank you for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback. We're pleased to hear that the delivery itself was excellent, particularly that your specific delivery date was met and that the communication was good throughout.
However, we're genuinely sorry to hear about your concerns regarding the quantity of wood in the 20L Hessian bags. We completely understand why this would be frustrating, especially as you've been ordering the same bags from us for the past three years and have noticed a clear difference compared with previous orders. As you rightly point out, a 20L bag should be a 20L bag, and we take your concerns seriously.
We've passed your feedback on to the relevant team, and a representative will be in contact with you directly to discuss this further and look into what may have happened with your order.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention and for your continued custom. We appreciate the opportunity to investigate this properly.
Kind regards,
KM
