I was so upset when my ghds stopped working as I didn’t know they could be fixed, but they were and it’s a lot cheaper than a new pair!! I was more than pleased with this service

I got the GHDs returned repaired next…
I got the GHDs returned repaired next day as promised with tracking and regular updates. I would only suggest to them it could be easier to choose which level of postage you require on return as there was no easy way to speak to someone to change this.

Hi Justine, thank you for your kind review. We take all comments on board so wanted to just explain our postal process.
All GHD's are, by default, invoiced as a special delivery for the return. The only variation of this is the pre-pay option where you select the service at the point of paying
When we sned the invoice, we also send an email explaining that you can change to a lower service by replying before paying. We then modify and resend the invoice if requested.
Those that want a quick turnaround only need to pay the current invoice as sent and on payment, shipping is done immediately often with delivery the next morning.
The reason we do this is that if we send an email after the repair asking for the choice of postage level, sometimes this adds a delay to the invoice process. Those that want next day delivery then often miss out due to delays choosing a delivery method and waiting for the re-invoice.
We did send you this email on the 8th August at 14:29. I do understand that this may have been missed but wanted to let you know that the postage can be changed at any time prior to shipping. We also can be called between 9am and 5pm on 01695 550066 if ever there is an issue.
I only wanted to explain the process for you and anyone who reads the review. We are always looking to improve our service and processes and this is something we will keep our eye on to see if we can improve it.

My ghds stopped working with the same…
My ghds stopped working with the same fault as before the repair . The engineer was helpful and told me to return them . They were repaired within a week .

Excellent service could not have done…
Excellent service could not have done any better. Was a bit dubious at first to post my GHDs to them to get fixed but what a wonderful company. They were fixed on the day they were received and sent back the next day in perfect and working condition. Yes definitely recommend.
