Very simple booking
Makes Europcar look very dated.

I had booked a car with the wrong company as I found out later they would be shut at 4.45pm and my flight wasn't arriving until 4.55pm. I phoned Vroomvroomvroom and spoke to Rhanny Covita who very quickly cancelled my booking and created a new booking that was (1. a little cheaper, and (2. would be open 10pm. Thanks Rhanny, you did a great job.

So refreshing to book a hire car on a simple, straight forward website. Major car hire companies should take a lesson from Vroom as their websites are anything but easy to navigate!

I was so happy with these guys. When I was making my booking I was having computer issues. I wasn't sure if the booking had completed and I didn't want to double book. I messaged these guys, they found my booking. It hadn't been completed so they asked a few questions and sorted it all out for me. Their customer service is outstanding.

Like the other reviews, do not book through this site unless you enjoy being ripped off. I sent a booking request for a camper van (the office hours were limited so it was a request asking if it were possible to organize drop-off prior to opening). What these bullies did was charge both the deposit and remaining balance without my consent a few days later. Then they told me I had to pay a $3000 bond and the insurance on the vehicle would be $30-$45 per day which is well over the hire cost of the van.

Oh and I would be charged a $30 after-hours fee and there will be no shuttle to get to and from the airport with my surfboard.

I am now going to be eating tinned tuna for every meal. I lost everything during COVID and this was all I had left which I decided to use on a holiday. Big mistake.

Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere!
