Verifone UK Arvostelua 

I was recommended to Verifone by a trader at a show, which I also traded at. He said he would get them to contact me. Two weeks went by with no contact so I went on their website with a view to giving them a call. There is no phone number on there so I filled in a form asking them to contact me. Another week passed so I delved into their website and found a number for customer services who couldn't help me but said she would put me through to sales, who didn't answer. I finally get an email from lauren in sales support with a brochure, but again no phone number, so I answered it with - "Do you not have phones?" She replied to my email, not with a phone number, but saying she would phone me at 2.30pm. No call came, so I gave up and will try elsewhere.

I've contacted several departments recently, and the same person answers at different times. Does anyone know their head office phone number? This company seems suspicious.

Wrost desicion of my trading life by moving to verifone, their devices are horrible & second hand. Losing customers because I can't take payment from them when I need to! Horrible company, horrible devices!

Alex Stutchbury was absolutely brilliant with great skill, great at negotiating. Got me a great deal and was very prompt to get back to me.

We recently replaced our PDQ devices on our till system. The whole process from ordering, installing, configuring and even returning the old devices went smoothly. Dan in customer care was helpful at each stage.

**I've reviewed the 1to 3 stars after being contacted by Alex to compensate on the rates fees. I will leave the original review as still no valid explanation.** Highlighted the problem for not able to process virtual card payment from 18th May 2024. Getting passed from technical department to advance technical department and still none the wiser till now which is 16/06/24. Was told they know what's wrong regarding the issue and still not able to fix the problem. Apparently they are having numerous issues with virtual card payment. THINK TWICE before signing up with this company.

We were looking for a card payment machine for our Annual charity event. Verifone were recommended to us and I found them extremely helpful, the paperwork was a nightmare but the team at Verifone were very helpful. The setup was straightforward and the help desk team very patient and helpful.

Well, where do I start? first off the support I received was absolutely brilliant and I cannot thank Lewis enough for all his help setting up my account. The machine (T650P) was quickly dispatched after passing verification and easy to setup. Could made it a little easier to find the passcodes for refunds/voids as had to google search these but again these can easily be obtained by a phone call so not much really a downfall and so far I honestly cannot fault anything. Already done a test transaction but waiting for it to appear in my dashboard unless it doesn't since I cancelled it. The machine is portable and pretty big so won't be easy to lose unlike the others such as Square and SumUp and also much cheaper in transaction fees. My old provider was charging me 20p + 1.69% if I recall whereas Verifone is 2p + 1.2% if I remember correctly so much cheaper and I honestly cannnot wait to start using this machine. Will also make it much easier to track my card income thanks to the paper roll which is also included. If you want a good card machine with great rates go with Verifone you won't look back. Again a special thank you goes out to Lewis.

Purchased seven v240m's in Dec 2022. Nothing but trouble, we've replaced all but two of them for v400's which are wired and good.

v240m's suffer from dropping BT LAN / Wifi settings and also battery issues where it will die mid way through a transaction, even though it's been sat on the charger all day.

Just replaced one for the 2nd time this year (battery) and they've said it's cracked so are charging us £105. It was sent in the same box the replacement arrived in (at the same time) and had no damage when it left. The replacement is grubby and a very poor referb.

At the very least don't get a v240m and hope you don't have to return anything.

Verifone is a completely reliable card machine, it has helped enormously

A customer of mine suggested I use this company. The money I will be saving is a great bonus. Cherise is very helpful and the setup and service is very good. I have been so impressed I have been happy to pass on her information to my customers.

Really good sales and quick set up. However would not use again as had late payments , payments not matching what you have taken , hard to track, online portal hard to navigate and not user friendly. Charge back taken even though only one card payment taken on machine. On contacting customer services staff are ok however most of the time they are unable to solve the issue as they need another department to deal with this. Also unable to contact the chargeback team by phone have emailed with no response.
Can’t get a print out of charges to make accounting easy - I SUGGEST PAY slightly more with another card company that know what they are doing and pay you on time!!!!

I had one of these machines and it was rejecting payment’s and not connecting to host they eventually changed machine and spent all morning with tech guy to get it started and it’s still looking for upgrades two days later they sent me a second hand machine instead of a new one I paid for new one which was faulty why did they not send me a new one like I paid for to start with these machines are truly rubbish I lost £26 on three customers but I’ve lost 3 customers because when they owe you money they don’t come back so how much has it cost me the machine is in the bin don’t waste your time with this lot update to this episode my contract has been cancelled and they are refusing to give me my money I paid for the first machine which was faulty they sent me a replacement machine and that is still searching for updates it’s unusable I have been to trading standards and they say I should be getting my money back under the terms of the supply of goods unfit for the purpose it looks like the machines are so rubbish they don’t want it back and don’t want to give me the money back I paid for first faulty machine stay away from these the machines are useless slow and not one bit reliable

Not received funds taken over the weekend, Clear breech of terms. Left several messages for the account manager, no response. No commination. Shoddy, I'll be looking for another provider.
