Made an offer and said they were picking it up on Thursday. Cancelled plans so we would be around. Contacted them to find out what time. Nobody answers the phone. Received a text message saying "sorry we missed your call". Phoned back and eventually someone answered and said they were no longer interested in the van. They had no intention of letting us know they weren't coming to pick it up. No apologies! Professional, NOT. Disgusted!!

John turned up on time checked the vehicle over and paid a fair price , the payment was immediate and he transferred ownership . Great service

Seemingly simple process before pickup and payment, however there was a miscommunication and we received much less for our van than expected; the valuation and communication to the inspector needs improvement. The superstar of the experience was John Muldoon who was polite, efficient and communicative throughout, despite the disappointment. Thanks John!

Sold a van, the team came out paid brilliant price for it, was pretty much online valuation! Logbook transferred and got paid straight away before they even left money was in bank! No riff raffs, straightforward, easy sale would definitely recommend for any private or fleet disposals. And special thanks to john for the top service!

Time wasters

Was a bit of a problem with collection date being changed a couple of times, but on the day they came to see vehicle, Cam was very polite, checked over the vehicle, which did have some damage and faults which I'd previously mentioned. Paid exactly what had discussed prior, no haggling, (unlike supposed other buyers who may turn up 1st time but then offer half what agreed and waste your time). Pleased with outcome so was worth the wait in the end.

Excellent experience with Vandervan from start to finish. I was contacted by the head office and offered a fair price for my vehicle, and the whole process was made incredibly easy. The night before the collection, John personally got in touch to confirm all the details and my postcode, which immediately gave a professional impression.

The next day he arrived exactly on time, was extremely polite, professional, and straightforward to deal with, and made the entire transfer process stress-free. Most importantly, they paid the full agreed asking price with absolutely no messing around.

On the first occasion that Vandervan arranged to collect my van they failed to show. I found them difficult to contact and when eventually I was able to speak to someone I was told the driver had some family related issue he had to attend. Obviously I have no idea if this is true, but even if it is, they could've at least let me know. As I stayed at home all day waiting for him. We rearranged the pick up and again I waited for them to arrive and again they did not show. When I contacted them they claimed that I was booked in for the next day. I know I would not have agreed to that day as I was not going to be there. So I have wasted 2 days waiting for these clowns only to be told sorry. I am disgusted with this company and will never deal with them again

Very easy process from start to finish. I spoke to Tom over the phone, sent some photos of the vehicle online, and was quickly given a quote. Two days later, Kevin arrived, checked the van over, and paid exactly the amount they had quoted.

Kevin also kept me updated on his arrival time while he was on his way, which I really appreciated. He was very friendly and likeable, which put me at ease and made the whole experience simple and stress-free. Highly recommended.

Awful, waste of time. They gave a price which was agreed, arranged collection today (2 days later), I called to see what time as hadn't heard from anyone, no one knew what was happening although it was on the board for today, told someone will call me back. Someone called to see if the van was still available i explained I'm waiting for it to be collected, they knew nothing about it so went to speak to a director. I got cut off so called them back only for the first guy to answer and offer £1,600 less, then made out it was all this Charlies fault who is working from home. In the meantime I've refused a genuine buyer for very slightly more as i had agreed with these and didn't want to mess anyone about. Sham of a company.

Dealt with John yesterday who I must say was very professional, after being open and honest about the van and its issues they gave a price and when he came to look over the van gave the amount of money they had quoted. Fuss free and easy. John was very polite, turned up on time and was very professional. I would reccomend Vandervan. Keep up the great work John.
