After making a purchase, I had a concern with the purchase and contacted Customer Service. I received a quick response and an immediate remedy to my concern. It was a very helpful and polite experience. Can hardly wait for this gift subscription to be delivered and enjoyed by the recipient!

I placed an order at the end of July for my dad's 80th birthday and still have not received anything. I can not reach anyone over the phone and have only received an email response saying it's coming the next month. 3 months is an absolutely ridiculous amount of time to wait and want to now cancel and get my dad something else now. Very dissapointed.

I ordered an UrthBox for my Father-in-Law for Father's Day. I did not think that it was a subscription since I chose 1 personal size box for 1 month - I did not see anywhere while choosing my box or checking out that said that "1 month" meant you paid 1 month at a time rather than only getting 1 month of boxes. I was charged for a second month and contacted support to get a refund. Eric explained that the "1 month" ordering still meant a subscription but was able to get a refund approved for me. I really appreciated it because the day I found out about the second charge, my Grandmother was taken to the hospital and she died two days later. I had to fly from NC to IL last minute to be with her on her last day and I appreciated that Eric was taking care of my UrthBox refund so that I didn't have to come home from the hospital with more bad news.

Helpful and fast response customer service, resolved my issues immediately whenever something came up! Food variety is appreciated.

I was given a gift certificate for URTHBOX and was having trouble figuring out how much I could purchase for myself with it. I emailed the company. Eric responded to my emails. I am a senior citizen and not all that good at navigating websites (in other words, I am not complaining about the URTHBOX website). Eric responded promptly and helpfully to all my questions. Therefore, I was able to redeem the gift certificate exactly the way I hoped I would be able to. Eric did a superb job.

After reading all of the policies and FAQs, I did not think it right to pay for something in early June and get it mid July, so I contacted customer service to cancel me order. The agent was very kind and offered to expedite my order. I was also assured that I would still receive my bonus box. I will always be willing to try a company that provides excellent customer care! If my box meets expectations, Urthbox has earned a loyal customer.

I had an issue and it was resolved as soon as they started the day. They gave me what I was looking for.

10/10 experience with UrthBox and would absolutely recommend! Eric from Urthbox was very helpful with my order he was able to answer my questions in a timely manner and with excellent customer service.

Boxes come filled with so many items and lots of variety! I enjoyed many new vegan protein bars, drinks, snacks and so much more!

We gave Urthbox to two of our children for three months as a gift.
Here is what one of them had to say about the contents of the three boxes she received:
"I’d say there were some interesting things in it, but also some repeat items which was kinda weird. Like we got these chick pea chip puffs multiple times (but I do like them), and sugarless chocolate (less popular) and energy/vitamin shots. Also, I’d advise them to not include the weird energy drinks. We just threw those away. They were like 5 hour energy/vitamin shots or something? Seems like a different market of people who are into organic/ health foods vs energy drinks. It also wasn’t a very large amount of stuff, maybe 4-5 items per box (and some we got in previous boxes). Maybe that is to be expected, but it sorta seems like they just get free samples from companies that want to expand their brand awareness and ship them out haha. Not a super intentional selection. Anyways, fun to try but I wouldn’t really recommend it."
Watch out. Even if you are buying a 3 month subscription as a gift they have a requirement that you must contact them to cancel your subscription or it will automatically renew. This is the note that I got initially when I complained:

Thank you for reaching out to support, I would be happy to assist you. I looked into your account and I didn’t see any cancellation requests. Per our terms, unless cancelled prior, all of our subscription boxes do renew on the 1st of every month. This is also made available in bold on the checkout page, terms of service page, frequently asked questions as well as your order receipt email- copy of the original receipt below.

What we can do and have done for you is canceled your subscription moving forward so that you are not charged again. June will be the last box that you will receive.

Thank you for your understanding of our policies and feel free to reach out with any other questions you have. "
After I responded that this was an unsatisfactory response and told them I would contact my credit card company to dispute the charges they did agree to refund the charges. They did imply that it was my fault for not cancelling the "subscriptions". I believe they should offer renewal as an "opt-in" option rather than automatically renewing and requiring communication to opt-out.

I didn't know how to cancel my subscription and when I submitted a ticket I was too late. Eric helped me out and refunded me the unsent months of boxes. The box was great and my daughter enjoyed it but she is moving soon and not sure where she will be living.

Urthbox not only provided delicious and healthy snack options, they provided exceptional customer service! We will definitely be using them again!

I purchased three boxes for my nephew for his birthday. The sign up process was challenging for me and Eric was very helpful in managing the whole ordeal and helping getting those mailed to him. I also didn’t read the fine print, that unless you specifically cancel, you will be charged automatically at the next billing cycle. Additionally, Eric was absolutely delightful in assisting me with a partial refund since one of the new boxes was already processed. Nephew loved the product, and customer service is top notch.

Eric was very helpful in processing a partial refund when the system glitched and it renewed my subscription too early. He was patient and kind.

I really enjoyed my urthbox snack box - but only wanted 3 months as a gift/ treat. When I didn't see an email about rolling over to another 3 month subscription and I reached out when I was charged, the customer support was super helpful and understanding on my circumstance and refunded me.
