I had only just signed up to the site and approx 3 days later I noticed that £30 had been taken out of my bank account by another dating site that I had never even heard of before or never signed up to. Once you sign up to the uniform dating site, without your knowledge they sign you up to other dating sites too and charge you which made me angry and ruined the whole dating experience for me. I had to ring up and be really firm with them to get my membership cancelled and make sure no more money was taken. And there were very little people on the dating site so I felt it was money down the drain. Lesson learnt, would never use this site again. Plenty of fish dating app is far better and its free!!

What a crap!!! What a joke is this website!!

I could instantly say the girls messaging me were not real, you can tell by the fact that all asking typical questions , they don’t respond to my questions... , best tactic I found was to ask them about their Facebook or instagram accounts.

All and all interesting scam experience which I would not repeat again.

My advise even if you want to go for it, don’t use a credit card, just use another debit card which is isolated and not link to your main account.

Massive scam. Not only are the members fake the site have my credit card details to other scammers costing me hundreds of dollars in unauthorised transactions. The fraud squad are now investigating. Avoid them!!!!

I work in financial crime and this is definitely a scam site.
Firstly if you sign up for a day or week it puts you in a recurring monthly sign-up.

Automated fake messages is just the start of it. They call these 'ice breakers' (but don't say that at the start). Most of the profiles look auto generated.

You cannot cancel online.

You cannot cancel via email - if you try they don't respond.

To be fair you can call in a free phone number to cancel but you have to listen to loads of spiel in a foreign call center and have to be very firm.

Update : despite cancelling have taken a monthly payment! What a sham.

Even the positive reviews on here are fake.

Avoid at all costs.

SCAMMERS!!!Absolute worst!!! Charged my account for $5.00 and then took an additional $21.99 without my authorization. Now I'm unable to use the account altogehter. What a joke!!

If I could give no stars I would. They will sign you up for other websites without your knowledge and charge you for them without you asking.
You have to call up to cancel (for all websites even the ones you didn’t know about!!) and they are pushy and extend your membership despite you not needing it anymore and telling them this, and they ask you to call again to cancel after the extra time (sneaky as this isn’t clarified until you ask if despite this the subscription is cancelled) That’s even for the websites they sign you up for without knowing.
The site is also full of scammers and not real people so doesn’t work effectively.
AVOID!

They falsely say you have messages. I signed up for 3 days at £2.90. Messages were not real!

Then used my card to take money out of my account for other sites. My bank fraud department saw the transaction and cancelled it.

This app is shameful. You have pictures of so called “soldiers” in uniform that are completely dressed out of line. You had a so called army airborne solider on one of the commercials. This woman had on a one piece with just the airborne logo. This app is disrespecting the US army men and woman who have fought for this freedom, by showing the army as some vulgar woman with just only a airborne patch on her arm, in a vulgar pose. As a US army solider, I find extreme disrespect in the way this app is showing army men. If you haven’t earned the patch don’t you dare wear it. A woman in a one piece camo outfit with a airborne patch on her LEFT arm. They not only have the audacity to put such a vulgar picture depicting the army, but they even went as far as to put the airborne patch on the wrong arm. I am very offended and hope this app get sued for how disrespectful they are being to the fellow service men who have given there life so that these people can come and disrespect them like this. I would never use this app. Please boycott this app. Very disrespectful.

Avoid this dating website at all cost as they our a bunch of robbing scumbags as they subscribe you to other dating sites and take money from you account with out you knowing cancelled my subscribion on Saturday after one day and had over 60 pound taken out of my bank account since then have had to cancel my card and card fraud department is getting me my money back so avoid at all cost

Ok, having read many reviews i have to say the same in that this site is a total con. Fake profiles and automated messages and this was after signing up to a 3 month agreement £59.99 through the apple app. Within an hour of realising its a con i started the process of a refund (14 days consumer rights (for the UK) I contacted Uniform dating (their number is hidden in their Ts&Cs) and spoke to a woman who could hardly speak English and she informed me because i made the purchase via Apple (app) they (uniform dating) wouldn't refund me and i had to contact Apple.
I contacted Apple and initially was given the run around but if you get the automated voice just say 'speak to a person' and it will connect you to a real person. This person was so helpful and told me how to cancel the subscription (to prevent further monies being taken) and then she managed to arrange a full refund of £59.99. Hats off to Apple for their help but sadly Uniform dating is set up to con the consumer and make it very hard to get a refund.
If you want to test the validity of the person you're taking to ask them how many photos you have on your profile!! they cant answer as there not real people !!
Oh and PS....if theres any ladies reading this would like a date then get in touch with me !!! ha ha (Northamptonshire area)

This is the worst dating app out there. I signed up realised they charged me 3 times without me noticing and when I asked for my money back on the same day, I got told that I had to contact different departments.

Whatever you do DO not use this website it is a scam. I cancelled my subscription after 3 weeks, they then took another £60 out of my account and now will not give it me back.

Conversations are obviously bots and computer generated. Fake profiles... total waste of money. Avoid at all costs!

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! called up and requested to cancel my account 4 times yet still got charged! When emailing again and explaining they said they have had no records of my calls so I have no had to contact my bank to cancel it! Awful costumer service!

Absolutely a scam! The guy I met told me he wanted to marry me after 3 days! Then the db asked me to send him money bc he couldn't get access to his account. Beware this site!

99% of conversations are bots or fake profiles. They have pictures ripped off directly from instagram models. Not worth even the $3 for the 3-day trial.

I decided to try a 3 day trial and cancel before that. After only being on it for an hour, it seemed like totally fake people, and something seemed off about it. I followed the instructions to cancel further charges, then it makes you call and talk to customer service. The guy told me that he would send a cancellation email, and that as a consilation, he said i get a free trial of FLIRT, and the link is in a separate email. It already has all of the same account information from the previous website. But by them enrolling me on FLIRT i had to do the same repeat process to cancel further payment. This lady did the same damn thing, and was gonna get me on another website. At that point i got angry, and said that i wanted out of it, and didn't want anymore dating sites and wanted my card taken off of there. Then she keeps trying to convince me to get a dating site. I had to yell at her and tell her, i did not want anything to do with any of this and told her to cancel any subscriptions. Then she said ok sir, you wont be charged and won't be charged for anything. It was really hard to understand all customer service reps, cuz they didn't speak good English. So i am hoping that i will not be charged in the future like she said, and wish i would have read reviews first! I totally regret this whole experience, and hope to warn other people about this!

Complete scam!!! BEWARE! I got charged £30 and didn’t read reviews about this ahead of time so didn’t know this would happen. I initially signed up to the 3 day trial and was planning on trying it out and then seeing what happens but functionality of website was diabolical (having to pay to add particular features, slow and unresponsive at times, mainly scam accounts) and could see there was no easy way to cancel. Called to cancel today and lady on the phone was trying to give me another month free and also trying to make me keep the account without listening to me when I was literally shouting “I would like to CANCEL the repeat subscription and close the account”. She finally responded that she can tell “I have made up my mind” and cancelled the subscription then sent through a cancellation email. Ridiculous dating site and will be checking out reviews of others in the future! Considering the site had ads on tv you would think they would be a little more legit but it’s just a waste of time and money. Definitely AVOID at all costs!
