They describe themselves as "respectable" but the evidence here is clear. To any residential organisation or commercial business thinking that CPM will make a difference to parking problems: they won't. Where I live, non-residents park in our spaces to visit shops totally ignored by CPM. Residents who make technical transgressions are targeted as easy prey however. And appeals are refused even when proving residency. Avoid this company like the plague.

I can only say that this company doesn’t even deserve 1 star but you don’t get that option, these people are basically crooks (don’t understand how anyone can work for them, how do you sleep at night) they are just a scheming money making business and do their best to catch people out by using every trick in the book and immoral tactics.
Why are the authorities/government allowing this type of company to operate.

I am furious with UK Car Park Management! I received a ticket despite clearly displaying a valid parking pass supplied by the building manager. This is utterly ridiculous and shows a complete lack of competence! How can you issue fines when proper passes are displayed? This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I will not recommend your services to anyone. Fix your procedures and take responsibility for your mistakes!

Received a parking charge relating to a site which this company has no authority to be on.

I see this as a fraud for which i will be reporting

This company should be banned by the government. I'm very surprised they haven't been closed down by the parking ombudsman POPLA.
I received 2 parking tickets for the same thing, while I was moving a client into their property.
They are barmy to think they can get away with this. Complete scum.

This company operates through intimidation, not integrity.

Their notices may look official, but in many cases fail to meet basic legal requirements. Appeals are ignored, and they rely on pressure, fear, and the threat of credit damage to force payment — regardless of the facts.

I ultimately paid to avoid further hassle, not because the charge was valid.

Their business model exploits uncertainty and fear. Be aware, know your rights, and don’t be bullied.

Total joke of a legitimate business. Residential location, with generic signage, no time limit, no criteria, just if you're unsure call this number XXX.

2hrs 5mins, and a fine, appeal due to lack of clarity, denied. Option to appeal, both reference and registration don't work on IAS site, yet they work on payment page.

No comms route, no escalation, no customer service, just a simple shakedown

Received a parking ticket for a car with a different reg number to mine. I appealed they still say i have to pay it because i was parked in a restricted zone. The photographic evidence shows a totally different car and reg number . My vehicle with the reg number they are perusing has been sorned since 2012 and is a ford transit not a mondeo as shown on their pictures.

Extremely poor management. Extremely poor communication. Discriminatory policies. Should be shut down

If you get a parking penalty charge for parking at Tudor Crescent, Scholars Walk estate, Cosham, Portsmouth, PO6 next to the College's blue fence, note that this is a public road and not part of Scholars Walk estate. The estate's land starts after the blue fence. You must appeal for the charge to be voided as it's a public road with free parking 24/7 on the areas without yellow lines.

It's the first time in my life that I've encountered such an absurd car park. The entrance is guarded by a police officer who immediately reads the number plate. There's no way to pay the parking fee at Oarking. There are information signs but they're of no help because you can't pay on the CPM website or by phone on Sundays because no one works there. I was there for only 40 minutes and after about 2 weeks I got a demand for payment of £60 or £100 if I don't pay within 28 days. I appealed describing the whole situation and they have 28 days to respond. The response came after 2 weeks with the option of paying £20 in 40 minutes which is also absurd. Unfortunately, the email got lost in the mailbox and I didn't read it until 2 days after the payment deadline. When I called there I found out that nothing can be done and I have to pay £60 again. The car park that caused me so much trouble is in Glasgow at Craignestock pl and is called Tempelton on the green car park. Thanks to CPM I am £60 out of pocket because they cannot make it easy for customers to make a normal hassle-free payment for parking.

Disgusting company, take money by threatening people. Absolute scum!

If I could leave zero I would .Car park conditions have changed and after investigating it seems many people have had the same issue.Took a week together PCN, which then only leaves a week to investigate all assuming you are into receive notification .So that is not good.Took 4 attempts to pay using different cards as it didn't like the one I always use.I am disgusted with this and although they have planning consent for cctv - I wonder if it breaches gdpr in its position?No helps and no ability to accept a partial blame.A note to add it's not a criminal offence only civil- of you wanted to fight it out as a breach of contract?

So I got clamped which is fair enough. I paid the fee. The staff who answered my email, were very friendly and fast as responding, so I’d give them 5 stars. But 3 hours wait after they said no more than 2 hours was disappointing. If it wasn’t clamped I’d be gone by quick enough and no longer causing an obstruction. But my car was stuck in a place where they don’t want me to park for most of the day. If the space is that precious and I’m causing an obstruction, why do they take so long to unclamp it, so it can be moved to somewhere else, not causing an obstruction. Definitely a money racket. They said no more than 2 hours to unclamp. It was over 2.5 hours. It’s hard to understand the logic. Their practice just caused more of an obstruction unnecessarily . It doesn’t seem to serve anyone except making them more money.

I've had a very disappointing experience with Car Park Management (CPM). My parking e-permit expired without any warning or reminder, despite being a resident with clear rights to park. Upon receiving a ticket, I immediately renewed my permit and provided evidence of residency, assuming common sense and fairness would prevail.

However, CPM swiftly rejected my appeal without any genuine consideration or empathy. Their rigid approach penalizes genuine residents and seems designed solely to maximize profits rather than manage parking effectively.

I would strongly advise caution in dealing with this company. They demonstrate poor communication, inflexible customer service, and a lack of basic fairness and transparency.

Parked on double yellow lines with blue badge clearly displayed, no signage on the lamppost or nearby to state I couldn't park there, got a ticket, challenged stating the above, they supply a picture of a parking warning that was a) nowhere near where I parked and b) on the side of a building behind a bush. Tried to appeal through IAS butt he parking ticket was not recognised, now I am hit with debt recovery for parking LEGALLY on a public highway under the terms of my Blue Badge!

I pay to park my car in a allocated disabled bay and the permit for that space is clearly stuck on the windscreen but for the second time this shameful company has sent another parking charge notice, I appealed the first one and it was cancelled as I hadn't broken any of their made up rules. I have emailed the land owner to inform them of the circumstances and I'm waiting for a reply from them.

We were following the rules regarding the parking permit. I had parked briefly to drop off some tools in the lobby, then went straight to the management office to request a permit. While I was in the queue and eventually received the permit, I was issued a fine in the meantime.

Even after showing the valid permit, I was told it didn’t count because it wasn’t displayed at the exact time the fine was issued.
Please be careful with them.

Only left one star as cannot leave Zero.
Last year CPM sent out reminders to renew permits. Not this year.
Is that so they rely on us forgetting.
What a scam!
Strangely cars that are non residents so do have a permit are left alone but residents that have not received a renewal so tend to forget are ticketed several times. Cheating scammers.
