Travarooo Arvostelua 

Had booked a taxi to arrive at 12.10 and came 40mins late! Apparently went to the wrong location. Missed my train from Chester to london. Only reasonable that they paid for a new ticket, but the customer service was shocking and the urgency of my plight wasn’t taken seriously.

Unfortunately been cancelled 2 weeks b4 my trip but at least I had time to rebook, but I now have to wait 3-5 days for my refund, bit disappointed and obviously won't be using again😞

As with many others, they also cancelled just a few days before - leaving me in a tricky position to book another car.

If there was a way to leave 0 stars I would. The driver drove past me several times, even as I attempted to wave him down. When I called the number provided, I received no assistance other than I could try and alternative form of transportation and email for a refund. I have little hope of seeing that money again. I am now far too late for the work I needed to accomplish today.

Totally unreliable. Last minute cancellation and no explanation or apology. I tried to chat online but the WhatsApp chat function didn’t work. Then I tried to ring - no answer. But then, out of nowhere, the taxi rocked up…

SCAM! Avoid!!!!!

This is a total scam. Do not use. Payment taken up front with no booking confirmation and option to refund. Avoid at all costs, fraud. Taxicode is a partner implementing the scam.

Our confirmed assigned driver, Jet, never showed up. He never responded to calls or texts. We had to quickly find another taxi service in the Cotswolds to join our tour in a later Town en route. The tour company, fortunately worked with us to accomplish being able to join them but we missed the first part of the tour. Thank you Go Cotswolds tours. I will NEVER use Travaroo again. They would get a 0 rating if that was possible.

I arranged for a pick up at 11.15 am to get me to work (car was being serviced). It didn’t arrive. I rang ant 11.20 am and was told that I could wait for 10 minutes or book another taxi elsewhere. Since I start work at 11.45 am and live 25 minutes away, this was hardly ideal. I then received a message telling me that no driver had been assigned. I rang again and was told that I had to email and cancel my ride in order to process a refund, even though they were at fault.

This is not a reliable service! I have just received an email saying my booking for a taxi has been cancelled due to Travarooo/Taxicode not being able to fulfil by booking and service the area requested. I booked this taxi 1 month ago!!! And only now, 1 month later, and 4 days from when I need to taxi. They tell me they cannot service my area. I confirmed the addresses with them during the online booking. I don't see why they would accept my booking and take my money, why they wouldn't be able to service me. The location is only 5 Minute drive outside of Ashford, I don't see why this would be an issue. I now have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund.
This is not how a reliable business should be run.

Just about to board our flight...we get an email saying that our booking can't be fulfilled.....and that they can rebook us for an extra £30!! We had already paid £54 upfront ...obviously just a marketing ploy to make them a bit of extra cash...well they can forget it...we won't be paying the extra thanks and have now booked another taxi service...and we will not EVER be using Travaroo again...we've also told our friends and family to avoid them at all costs....and we have a big family

Prebook taxi, pay over the odds in advance and then get let down 3 hours before taxi due! Had drinks and now can’t get home… fuming!

Horrific service and journey. Airport arrival which they had details of. They didn’t track it, our taxi was late and then our driver conducted a hand held mobile phone call for the duration of our 40 min drive. The car was sub standard, flashing lights on the dashboard.
I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone.

Booked a 6 seater taxi through Travaroo, specifically asked them to contact my mobile if any issues.

When the Taxi failed to arrive and I eventually get through by phone they tell me it was cancelled due to lack of availability 2hrs earlier and we’d been emailed to confirm this - leaving us stranded in the middle of nowhere after midnight!

Not impressed!

No issues with the taxi driver, picked up early as we informed the company we were free earlier than agreed as it was a late evening pick up. Driver was very polite and safe driving so no issues on this side. Only note would be around the refund policy. This needs to be more clear prior to booking and this may prevent bad reviews. However we tried to cancel on the day of the booking but feel this should be more visible. This company basically finds you a taxi company in which they book on your behalf. Just to be clear, this is not a taxi service but a third party booking service.

No refund when I cancelled my trip the day before. Shocking. DO NOT USE.

First driver didn’t turn up and texted he would be 20 minutes late. Second driver rang and when I said I was coming he disappeared! Absolutely USELESS, AVOID!

Used them to pre book a 8 seat minibus to and from cheltenham races as one of our party is unable to walk. Called on the morning to try and change the booking to 30 mins earlier to be told there was no minibus booked as had not been able to find anyone to do it. No email or call to tell us this beforehand. Left stranded in Cheltenham. Did not care at all. Appalling service. Never use them !!!

Absolute scam. Charged me £80 for a 20 minute return journey. Never showed up despite multiple calls, and in both directions texted me 15 minutes after the booking time to say “no drivers available”. Don’t use this firm.

Truly awfully waste of time.

. Booked taxi for 10pm. Cancelled 10 mins before pick up. Left high and dry. Taxi paid upfront. No number to call.

Clearly a front with no real commitment and relationship with the local taxis they pretend to book with. Don’t waste you time or money.
