Toshiba Arvostelua 

Unreadable age 3 years from purchase from John Lewis.
Had made backup files and these were retrieved using dmde.exe but the Toshiba StorageSecuritySoftware could not accept the file type .bkup so the backups were useless and the data is lost.

Television only 3/4 years old already no picture, has sound unable to fix it , yet I have another TV that is nearly 20years old works perfectly. I would advise anyone not to buy a TOSHIBA dreadful experience

Tried to contact through the live chat. Said msg received, an agent will be with you shortly. Never happened. Disgusting.

I have had this TV for 1 year it is the worst one I have ever had you cannot get through to a cotomer service and when you ask to speak to someone they put you through to a supcripion service that want you to take out a supcripion why is this I would not buy anything from Toshiba again

Motor stopped working in just 18 months after purchasing.... Toshiba lifestyle seller is the worst.... 1st they stick 3 years of warranty on it and upon asking to fix it they denied... definitely not at all preferable product..

Cuts off from freely almost daily, remote uses a set of batteries a week in short over a year batteries will cost more than the TV, am selling this heap of £&_#£_!!

Avoid buying any toshiba fire tv or any toshiba tv I bought a 50inch tv from curry's 3 years ago and the screen has already gone i have a black display and can't see anything.
I spoke to a toshiba agent who was not helpful at all and told me I should consider buying a new tv. I have a 32 inch seki tv that is a cheap brand the tv is 10 years old moved 4 diffrent houses with me and still works perfectly. So the fact I bought a 50 inch tv that I thought was a decent brand and after 3 years being told by the same company to basically throw it away and buy a new tv is disgusting PLEASE PEOPLE AVOID BUYING THE RUBBUSH BRAND gey a Samsung or a lg

I thought I had an issue with Sky, so I telephoned their technical services. They went through their checklist; one of the questions was, "What TV are you connecting to?" When I told them it was a Toshiba, the engineer repeated, "Ah, can you buy Tosh Cheaper?" I couldn't agree more; the TV is absolutely Tosh. It is so difficult to turn on and off as it doesn’t respond to the remote control commands. Currently, it has stopped working completely as it's frozen during a software update. All too often, it doesn't connect to the internet, the only one of four in the house that we have this issue with. I would never recommend this brand.

Stay way from Toshiba fire Tvs last Sony bravia tv lasted over 20 years.
This "vaule for money one has lasted about 2 years and dead and from reading now common issue now screen flicking and crashing and then goes to black screen. Now going to use fuel to take to tip. Cost £400 for 2 years. Another company robbing customers blind why make a product to live much past warranty clear pattern going on. Glad plastic straws been stopped to save plastic yet all this plastic in this junk and the straw lasts longer. After seeing quality of this 100% would not pay any Toshiba products in future.

Toshiba 43uv2363db 43 inch 4k ultra hd VIDAA smart tv. Bought in May 2026, would never buy any tv with freely in it again. I have very good internet connection and wi-fi but this ‘freely’ tv keeps losing connection with wi-fi interrupting nearly every thing I watch! Saying that my internet connection is lost and to check it, but I am always still connected to my network and the wi-fi signal is still there. I agree with other reviewers about the remote controller being slow to respond and needed a lot of pressure to work, also my screen also went black displaying different error codes.It was so frustrating I changed to using a Ethernet cable, but it is still losing connection! It’s a nightmare. Stay away from any tv that has freely in it. It is not reliable. The tv itself is okay apart from the wi-fi hardware problem but the sound goes up and down with different channels and players, I’m forever having to adjust the sound. Sometimes the volume is up in the nineties! I had to buy a Roku Stick to watch the players without interruption!

Worst Tv and worst services. Don’t waste your money

I have a Toshiba Fire 50 Inch 50QF5D53DB Smart 4K UHD HDR QLED TV and it is the worst piece of junk which I have ever bought.
The original tv I bought was taken back and replaced, due to the tv just stopped working.
The guys picking the tv up said they had replaced lots of these tv's so far.
The tv now has a habit of switching itself off, switching the volume, or the picture off and it takes ages to warm up when first switched on.
The epg takes ages to warm up and show the tv schedules and until it has warmed up, you cannot use the tv.
Save your money and buy a decent tv from more reliable manufacturer

Do NOT buy a Toshiba fire TV! This is by far the worst TV I've ever brought! I can't get it to connect to my WiFi, even though everything else is connected and working fine, plugged a cable from my router to the TV, still won't connect to the internet. And when I do eventually get it to connect, the home screen takes about 10 minutes to load. I now have an android streaming box connected via HDMI and it's working absolutely perfectly, so it definitely wasn't my broadband, it was this inferior Toshiba product!

Bought 24" Toshiba Exertis tv in July 2025. Now 54 weeks after receipt the tv has developed a constant ticking sound from the speakers. Toshiba not interested as it is outside 12 month guarantee period and suggested I contact the retailer who has offered a £30 voucher.
Wish I had read all the poor reviews before buying this sub-standard tv and I will not be purchasing any other Toshiba product in the future.

Rubbish tv! Had it for six weeks, screensaver has started to come on every ten minutes and now I’ve a completely black screen. It won’t work at all. It’s not even fit for the rubbish!

I bought a 55 inch TV 2 months ago from Argos, last week it started to go to a black screen, as though it had been switched off or the picture kept freezing. I am now suck on one channel unable to switch over or off as the remote does not do anything. Just had a flick though the reviews here and it seems it is a common problem. I have just tried to contact customer services and there is no way of emailing them or can I find the correct model on there site. I am utterly disgusted with this pile of rubbish.

It's been over a week since I emailed Toshiba and they haven't even had the decency to reply. I am now going to seek a legal route and take them to civil court.

Well if I could give a zero I would.
1. Number on manual useless
Four numbers later I spoke to the correct person.
2. 5-6 month wait for the part I was told. FIVE-SIX, 5-6 months !!! Really !
It's a plastic bucket to hold the water.
Approximately 120 CDN dollars !!! WOW !!!
The whole unit was 180.
The Ai taking my model number got it wrong 4 times ( garbage system ).
The plastic holding container cracked and leaked after 2-3 years and only used for 3 months during the summer.
Do not buy any Toshiba dehumidifiers
Terrible product, terrible customer service numbers that don't even work( written on my manual )
Timeline and cost for a part ridiculous .
I can see by the cost and quality that these are possible throw away units after 2-3 years of something goes wrong given costs and time of parts.
Not a responsible company for the environment.

Je déconseille fortement la marque Toshiba solutions Chauffage.
Nous avons fait installer une pompe à chaleur Toshiba par un installateur agréé. Malheureusement, celui-ci a cessé son activité dès le lendemain de l'installation. Suite à un problème de télécommande, j'ai contacté le service après-vente Toshiba qui m'a assuré, en février 2026, qu'un technicien serait mandaté pour établir un diagnostic.
Depuis cette date, plus aucune nouvelle. Le SAV ne répond plus à mes sollicitations malgré de nombreuses relances.
Face à cette absence totale de suivi, j'ai adressé un premier courrier recommandé au service après-vente le 9 mars 2026, resté sans réponse. Un second courrier recommandé a ensuite été envoyé le 27 avril 2026 à l'attention du Directeur Général, là encore sans la moindre réponse.
Cette expérience démontre un manque évident de considération pour les clients et une absence totale de prise en charge lorsqu'un problème survient. Une marque qui se présente comme un acteur majeur du chauffage devrait être capable d'assurer un minimum de service après-vente et de respect envers ses clients.
À ce jour, je me retrouve avec un équipement défectueux et aucun interlocuteur pour résoudre le problème. Pour ma part, Toshiba Chauffage est une marque à éviter.

Ma climatisation est tombée en panne, le compresseur a lâché grillant la carte mère avec. Chez Toshiba, ils n'ont rien voulu savoir!!! Juste le compresseur pris en considération. Déplorable
