I purchased a new 55-inch LG NanoCell…

I purchased a new 55-inch LG NanoCell AI NANO81 (55NANO81A6A.AEK) in May 2026 to replace an older LG television that had given excellent service for around 14 years.

Unfortunately, from new, the replacement set has exhibited intermittent picture and audio issues across both terrestrial aerial and Freesat satellite sources. The problems are particularly noticeable on BBC channels but are also present elsewhere. Symptoms include pixelation, brief audio dropouts, picture freezing and occasional picture jumps which resemble a skipped frame or a vinyl record skipping.

What makes this especially frustrating is that the previous LG television operated on exactly the same aerial, satellite feeds, cabling and mains supply without a single issue throughout its lifetime, suggesting that the installation itself is unlikely to be the cause.

To try to eliminate external factors, I have carried out multiple factory resets, retunes and even installed a surge-protected mains supply, but the problems remain.

To be fair to LG, their customer service team responded promptly to my enquiry, acknowledged the issue and opened case reference CNU260624820066. However, their initial response suggested that the problem may be signal-related despite the symptoms occurring across two separate signal delivery systems and despite the proven reliability of the existing installation with the previous television.

At the time of writing, I am awaiting further contact from LG's support team and any inspection or repair arrangements that may be necessary.

I have been a long-term LG customer and hope this issue can be resolved quickly and satisfactorily. I will update this review once the case has been concluded.
Following a subsequent telephone conversation with Customer Services, the initial position taken was that the simultaneous appearance of faults on both the satellite reception path and the terrestrial aerial reception path, coinciding precisely with the installation of the new LG television, was most likely attributable to signal or reception issues external to the TV itself. I was advised to seek the assistance of an aerial specialist to investigate my installation.

Customer Services also maintained that I should provide video evidence of the faults occurring. Whilst I appreciate the value of visual evidence for diagnostic purposes, the anomalies are both momentary and intermittent, occurring without warning and often lasting only a fraction of a second. I questioned whether it would be realistic for anyone to reliably capture such events on video under these circumstances, a point which appeared to be acknowledged during the discussion.

To LG's credit, the advisor ultimately agreed to escalate the case to their specialist technical team for further consideration and advised that she would contact me again once guidance or a proposed way forward had been received.

At present, I am awaiting that follow-up and remain hopeful that a satisfactory resolution can be reached.

Bought their top range OLED TV with a "premium" 5 year warranty. The TV was mounted on a wall and never touched but developed a fault in a white vertical line from top to bottom. Despite being well within the 5 year "warranty" period LG were more than happy to give me the generous offer of giving them hundreds of pounds to fix the issue of their obviously faulty workmanship. They were also very helpful in pointing me toward some authorised service centres some 200+ miles away. This is a common issue i have seen from many users in various countries and LG refuse to accept any responsibility. I will never buy an LG product again, not for the lack of quality but for their lack of accountability.

Oltre che mi ritrovo una tv che doveva essere sostituita perché FALLATA al momento della vendita e tutto il disagio di 15 gg senza tv per 2 viti dei supporti mi chiedono pure quella cifra per 2 viti?
Come se avessi causato io tutto questo disagio.

I regret of gettting a new LG TV

I brought a new LG TV last week. It is a LG QNED70B 50 4K TV 50QNED70BSA. It was not the cost of this TV that made me particular interest to purchase this TV but tyring to see how LG appliance nowadays. It was totally disappointed that the voice menu was like a fast payback of old tape recording. Voice nevigating menu supposed being a good feature for those who have difficulty in read words. But in the LG TV it makes things harder.
Besides, the cursor also being a useless feature to a lot people that there hands could not stable in on position. How can one navigating the menu using the shaking cursor? However, it will popup anytime.
Before, receiving this TV we can use our old Samsung TV to watch free-to-air television programs using our existing antenna. But the new LG TV not able to receiving any TV program. The tuner could not tune to any station at all.
The only thing that we can do with the new TV is watching streaming from the setup box.
Our set-top box was connected to HDMI port 1. But it would not be easy to select HDMI 1 port for stream.
The icon for it would be hidden somewhere a user may take an hour to locate it.
I fell regret for dumping the old Samsung TV before making sure the new LG TV works properly for us.
It is totally useless for old people. Not sure youngster feel with those smart features in LF TVs.

Every time you have to update an app, LG makes you use THEIR crap THINQ, log in, and it sucks.
Tried to use Peacock, and it needs an update. ThinQ blocks it, and their ThinQ app, which is written by very stupid programmers, requires you to jump through so many hoops and makes it extremely time-consuming. LG could have just allowed you to use email and login, but they want access to YOUR TV because they think they own it, NOT YOU.
Easier to just cancel subscription to Peacock than to fight through the THINN Q app,

Every year I have to fight with their stupid app

Avoid 65QNED TV . Unpleasant Purchase

Second 65QNED TV in 1 year 3 months. First TV straight out of the box failed during setup process and it was replaced. The TV which was replaced with have horizontal lines. Surely a brand‑new TV should not require repairs . Avoid, this TV looks amazing at first unfortunate QNED it a no no no. This is without doubt the most unpleasant purchase I have made.

Dissatisfied

So after 2 weeks on phone with LG call centre they finally sending the courier to pick it up for repair that mean we are going to be without TV for who knows how long. Why can they authorise local repair. Good job I kept the original packaging. As the TV problem is at random I won’t be surprised it all if the TV is sent back with the fault.

2008 lg tv lasted 18 years. Died may 17, 2026

So my dad bought a 2008 LG TV. model 42LC7D-UK. He passed away in 2015. I got the TV and it brought me some comfort because it was his. It’s now 2026 and my TV died. It was not a smart TV. I had to use a Roku with it. My dad bought the Roku and he was asking me. How do you set this up? I got the Roku set up on it after he was gone. But anyway, it died yesterday. That TV lasted 18 years. And we both watched it a lot. I like LG tv. Yeah I would not buy any other brand tv. Goofy, I picked up the remote and sat down to watch it this morning and remembered it’s gone. I’m so used to it being there.

The LG TV App takes over your viewing

The LG TV takes over your viewing and forces you on to their LG channels and app. It is frustrating and annoying and makes it difficult to negotiate out of their app.
I am unsure if this is to harvest your details.
Best advice is unless they stop this practice DO NOT BUY AN LG TV!

Goodbye LG!

Goodbye LG!! I bought my beautiful LG CX 65in OLED 4 years ago at my local Besy Buy for a little more than $2400. Got it home and put up my heavy duty wall mount and installed the OLED the same day. Hooked up cable and my PS5 and I was awed by the picture(sound could be better for the price tag but not terrible) and with 4 HDMI 2.1 hookups i eventually added my computer and Xbox which all looked great after some minor tweaking. So for the next 4 years there it sat on the wall, mostly being used as a gaming monitor which it exceeded my expectations! The one expectation the LG CXPUA 65in OLED absolutely failed on was..... Longevity!!! 4 years and my $2400 Television is dead!? How!? Bad PSU? Bad T Board? How about both? Yes! Got PSU but can't find T Board. What upsets me is LG not standing behind they're then flagship Television set. Your boards are failing at no fault of the owner (alot! Look online and you will see!) So now I'm forking over around $600 dollars to replace something that should have lasted much longer at that price point.Ive been a loyal LG guy forever as the First TV I ever bought was a Flatron back in the day which lasted like 15 years. Anyway I think this is the last LG I'll ever purchase! If your boards fail after a few years just replace them!

Recently got the LG OLED65C54LA
TV picture is superb, easy enough to add apps and do everything you need to do with your smart tv.
My issue is the remote control. Oh my god. If you have nails you’re screwed, the recessed button that you need for practically everything is impossible to press with your thumb, you have to press with the tip of your nail which is okay if you’re just needing it to select an app, infuriating when you’re trying to type anything.
They seriously need an overhaul of the remote so ALL customers can use it easily not just people with very short nails.

THINK AGAIN!! And look elsewhere.
Ever since new (and now 14mths in to a 5yr warranty) it has been a nightmare. We paid for retailer to set up the tv. It keeps switching off - often at the worst possible times eg Wimbledon men's final, match point ..... screen went black! Frequent msg is "Updating apps"; we rarely use the apps!!. Another one: "switching off in 5 minutes" just 30 minutes after switched on. What's that all about?! This evening watching a tv drama in its closing minutes, baddie pointing gun at cop. Black screen "updating apps" - switched off and took >5 mins to switch back on. Utterly useless. We rarely stream, mostly we use Freeview. Also voice and picture are not aligned. Remote control response is frequently delayed, and the pointer wand is ridiculously difficult to control. Sound volume required varies between 10 and 20plus. In fact I can't think of anything that is good about this LG tv. I am a really dissatisfied customer. No wonder the TrustPilot rating is so low at 1.3. I wish I'd read the reviews before buying, instead of listening to the retailer.

Pessima esperienza TV Nanocell

Pessima esperienza. LG NanoCell 50'' Serie NANO82 50NANO826QB 4K Smart TV . Dopo 3 anni esatti di utilizzo sporadico sullo schermo sono apparse righe verdi che si spostano rendendo impossibile la visione. Ovviamente fuori garanzia. Non conviene aggiustarla, ma buttarla e comprarne una nuova.
