Product Review: Thule WingBar Edge & Thule Motion 3 XL Low Roof / Ski Box
I purchased the Thule WingBar Edge roof bars together with the Thule Motion 3 XL Low roof box. These products are often described as the best on the market—and they are certainly priced that way.
Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.
Starting with the WingBar Edge, I encountered issues with the rubber strips. They do not stay properly seated in the grooves, and once they come loose, it is nearly impossible to reinstall them in cold weather. This is frustrating for a product that is clearly designed for Nordic and winter conditions.
The Motion 3 XL Low roof box has even more serious problems. The hinges can come out of position, and the lid itself feels surprisingly flimsy and overly flexible, making it difficult to align and close properly.
The biggest issue, however, is the locking mechanism. The lock clicks into three points, and once it does, the key is released. Getting all three locking points to engage at the same time requires excessive force, patience, and luck. It often takes multiple attempts, which is extremely frustrating—especially considering the premium price of the product.
Overall, these products look good on paper and in marketing, but the real-world usability does not meet expectations. For items positioned as top-tier and priced accordingly, the build quality and user experience should be far better. At this price point, these issues are simply unacceptable.

Mochilas que se rompen y no tienen solución
Tengo una mochila Lithos que me encanta. La he utilizado bastante, pero nunca la he maltratado ni sometido a condiciones extremas. De repente el fondo se ha roto al lado de la costura. Se supone que es algo que no debería pasar con estos materiales. Cuando he contactado con Thule, no me han dado ninguna solución sobre cómo repararla. Les he tenido que preguntar varias veces hasta que me han dado una respuesta inútil. Una experiencia muy decepcionante

Bene ma non benissimo
Il prodotto è ottimo e ne sono soddisfatto, lo ricomprerei. Il supporto clienti è rapido e gentile, ma il punto debole è stata la spedizione, nel mio caso affidata a GLS, che mi ha avvisato della consegna, poi all'ultimo minuto ha comunicato un ritardo, e ha poi "sequestrato" il pacco per diversi giorni (cosa che mi ha portato a scrivere al supporto clienti). Non comprerò più nulla da chiunque si affidi a questa azienda per le spedizioni.

Everything went wrong
Everything went wrong - late, uncomplete and absolutelly not user friend answer. If you do not rebuild the system of support, I will never use it anymore. It is shame!
