Item not arrived, no refund
Placed the order on 25 November.
Website says it takes 4/5 days to deliver.
Customer services say it was eventually dispatched on 2 December via Royal Mail.
It’s 9 December and the item still hasn’t arrived. I’ve ordered items from other sources that used Royal Mail to deliver after 2 December and received them.
The moment has past to provide the gift. The Gift Experience won’t provide a refund despite not fulfilling the order.
Looking at the reviews, most seem to have a positive experience. But they keep letting themselves down on occasion and I am one of the unlucky ones. My my experience they just look like scammers. I want my money back.

I am sorry to read this, however looking at your order the item you purchased has a 4 working day dispatch time, NOT delivery time, and so you have unfortunately misunderstood this causing your first frustration. The item was dispatched by Royal Mail who are constantly striking week after week leaving the whole country to be waiting longer than normal for their deliveries, on top of it being the busiest time of year. Royal Mail not working meaning there are no collections and deliveries of post is causing terrible back logs and is completely out of our and any companies hands. I can see from the tracking your order has already been delivered, and I can see the photo of the postie handing it over to you. Most very much do have a positive experience with us, I’m afraid yours is due to you misunderstanding the word dispatch for delivery therefore it did not arrive when you assumed it would, and the postal system is in a bit of a mess at the moment which is not something we can be held accountable for.

Give the wrapping service a miss!!
I was happy with the product I received, although this was available cheaper elsewhere. I went with this company as they offered a ‘gift wrapping service’. Please do not take up this offer as it is extremely poor. Not only was the gift wrapped upside down, it was wrapped in flimsy tissue with visible sticky tape everywhere and finished off with the cheap gold Christmas ribbon that you can buy in multipacks for a pound. Given that they charge £4.95 for this service it’s quite appalling really. I immediately removed and popped the gift in a nice little bag. Feeling a little annoyed that I’d not only paid an additional £5 for the gift but the £4.95 for the so called wrapping service, I contacted the company. The response I received was unless I took a picture of the wrapping they weren’t prepared to refund it. I’m sure they are only too well aware of the cheap and nasty results they are getting with the products they use so they shouldn’t need a photograph of it! I will never order from them again but, if you do, your money would be better spent buying your own wrap/gift bag and avoid disappointment.
Following on from the reply below I beg to differ. There was no ‘bow’ at the top, merely the curly cheap gold ‘Christmas’ ribbon that comes in reels - often as a pack with Christmas wrapping paper. The ‘paper’ used was of the quality that is normally ruffled up and placed on top of a gift bag to keep the contents hidden. As for the tape, I have ordered gift wrapping many times. Maybe you could splash out on double sided tape or simply employ someone that has had some gift wrapping experience. I only wish I had taken a photograph so I could warn other potential customers. I have reduced my rating from 3 to 2 stars based on the inaccuracies in your reply.

I am sorry to read you were disappointed in the gift wrapping Sonia, however without seeing what you have described we are unable to take the matter to our production manger. Similarly, if someone has received a damaged or incorrect item, we request to see this in a photo so we can act accordingly and take the matter up in-house, I am sure you understand this. We do not stock or use tissue paper for our gift wrapping and we do not use Christmas ribbon. A member of the team carefully wraps each gift in appropriate wrapping paper based on the occasion/recipient, and the paper must be taped together – please let us know what you'd recommend we use instead. We finish off each parcel with curling ribbon which is again carefully wrapped around the gift and then curled to make the bow at the top to finish off the elegant wrapping. The cost of the wrapping covers the materials and the time of the person wrapping it.

There is a green button under the billing address that says 'Use Alternarive Delivery Address'. This just needed to be clicked to then fill in a different address for the order to be sent to. It would have been great if you'd given us a quick call to ask how to do this, rather than leave this poor rating review.
