The Gift Experience Arvostelua 

I gave a negative response on another site and cannot retract it!
I would just like to say, that my order was dispatched on time and without a problem.
The only issue I have as mentioned on another site, was I wanted to know if my order had been sent and had no response whatsoever after sending out enquiry emails!
I would've given a 5 star rating if someone had responded to me.

I contacted their customer service to request a review of two gift experiences that were gifted to me and my family last Christmas. Unfortunately, both had expired by a month. They made no attempt to assist or provide a solution. It’s clear they don’t value their customers’ satisfaction. I strongly advise against buying from this company

There are several terms for gift experience vouchers that are not presented to the user when purchasing. When these are later presented to you, the customer service team simply inform you that your purchase is non-refundable, and no further discussion is entertained..

This is mis-leading at best, and entirely unhelpful.

Edit: Additional information added following the reply the company provided to my original review: Despite seemingly offering to help they have not contacted me, nor have they responded to any subsequent attempts to speak to them.

This just reinforces my opinion that they have no interest in actually supporting customers.

Looking for a gift for a friend, found one easily, thankyou

It was easy to order, the gift was of good quality and delivered within three days. The person who received the gift was very happy with it.

Where do I start with this one.

I received a gift experience voucher for a gift for a overnight stay and spa treatment at Peebles Hydro. The gift voucher had a expiry date of April 2026.

When trying to book the voucher it was done through a company called PureSpaUK (also another shocking company). Long story short, after nearly 4 weeks of trying to book I was advised the gift voucher no longer is accepted and I should contact The Gift Experience for a refund.

On contacting, not at any point did they take my name, any contact details. They advised they would supply a refund, of which I then gave my bank details but still wasn't asked my name.

5 weeks it's taken me to finally get a refund from this company. They were ignoring emails, deflecting the issue on phonecalls. I can honest say I've sent about 25 emails and made at least 20 calls. Their customers service is atrocious.

It's clear this company are selling vouchers with longer expiry dates to make them seem more appealing.

I've asked on numerous occasions for a email address or phone number to make a complaint, and not once given any information. Yes they have a customer service email address however this emails get ignored.

Honestly hands down one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with.

Absolutely dreadful. Passed to omg hotels for the booking for some reason. Booked dinner on the wrong date so couldn’t do that and haven’t yet sent through the theatre tickets and I am supposed to be leaving for London in an hour. Do not use this absolute disgrace of a company.

I received the gift I ordered and it was perfect , just as it was described , looks really good, I am really happy with it and would recommend this company to anyone...

I purchased a hotel gift voucher from The Gift Experience and have been completely unable to book anything with it. I followed all instructions, tried the booking site listed, and even attempted off-peak dates – nothing is available or working.

I’ve contacted customer service multiple times with no meaningful response or resolution. This feels like a scam at this point – I’ve paid money for something I can’t even use.

I am now requesting a full refund as I have not received the product/service I paid for. I will be escalating this through my bank/credit card company if this isn’t resolved.

Very disappointed – I just want my money back or a working voucher.

I ordered a personalised item for my friend’s 50th wedding anniversary. When I received it one of the names had a letter missing, son’t know of it was my mistake or their’s. But they had no intention of sorting it out for me. Can’t even return it. This company’s customer service is crap. This was the first time I have used them and I will not be ordering anything else. Rubbish company and rubbish customer service.

Shocking lack of communication. I tried to contact them twice with a query, once via their webform and once by email. No response at all.
No confirmation of my order apart from a money off voucher, which I wouldn't dream of using.
I'm still waiting for one item from my order.
I wish I'd read the reviews before ordering from them.

I’ve had mixed experiences with The Gift Experience. Customer service has usually been great, sorting out issues professionally and kindly, like replacing a missing puzzle piece or fixing problems with delayed replies. When Robyn helped via Facebook Messenger, the service was outstanding—quick and efficient. Some issues with orders do happen, but overall, a solid company.

I paid £17 for next day delivery for two items for my Grandma’s 100th birthday. One item arrived three days later and the other still hasn’t arrived. I never received a confirmation email or any further emails to inform me of the delays/partial delivery. Appalling service.

I ordered a gift experience as a Xmas present in plenty of time on 17th December. It has NOT been received.
I emailed the company, no reply so today I've rung the company and they refuse to send it immediately. They said 3 to 5 working days.
I wasn't happy about this and asked to speak to the manager, no you can't and put a complaint in writing !
Terrible experience . Do not use this company as they have no customer service. Very disappointed.

I ordered a personalised sack for my grandaughter on 8th December. Delivery 3 to 8 working days. Despite emailing the company who said they would put a trace on it I have heard nothing back.
This cost nearly £18.

Ordered two t-shirts. They didn't arrive after a week, despite advertising as such.
I emailed to cancel the order. It conveniently arrived two days later. I have emailed four times to request a return code and return address, as per the instructions on their website. I have received four holding emails but no personal responses.

Avoid this company at all costs.
Service is atrocious and completely untrustworthy.

I purchased a Jigsaw Puzzle and there was a piece missing... contacted the company who made the puzzle to told me to contact the seller.

Contacted The Gift Experience and the customer service was brilliant. Was offered to pick or choose another puzzle etc but decided on just getting a replacement of the same one

Bought an eye massager, arrived on time.unfortunately does not work... Sent 2 emails to customer services waited 48 hours and no response so far... Not impressed at all. Will leave them another chance and update my review.

Ordered personalised wine glasses for a family member’s 25th wedding anniversary. They arrived without the engraving . So I can’t gift them. Emailed expressing my dissatisfaction asking for an explanation and have had no response. I am never using this company again - if you’re offering gifts you need to step up your game. Why dispatch glasses with a blank space for engraving ???

I would not even give a 1 star.
Brought this experience on the 6th of January 2024. Tried to use and couldn’t. Email gift experience as you can’t talk to anyone on the phone. And had an email a few days later to say call (Young Driver) As I got this for a birthday present for my daughters 16th.
Spoke to someone from young drivers who said that the voucher has expired. I’ve been back and forth all week with gift experience and seem to be getting know where.
My first email said 2025 is when my voucher expires and then another email to say 31st of January 2023 it expires. To now be told it’s already expired.
I’m now Waiting on a response form the company and hopefully a refund??? Probably wishful thinking, I feel like I’ve been robbed for 89 pounds. I would never buy off this company again.
