I love this company. I've ordered from them so many times when I want something extra special or some seafood not regularly found at the supermarket. Their range of sashimi is impressive and always of high quality. Delivery has always been on time and the fish is well-packed and still frozen. Would highly recommend.

I came across The Fish Society while searching for wild-caught sockeye salmon.

I initially placed an order for organic Scottish salmon, but after realising that even organic salmon is still farmed, I decided to cancel it. I called customer service, and the cancellation was handled seamlessly with zero issues.

Although I couldn't transfer the original £10 off voucher from the cancelled scottish salmon order, I had another voucher that offered even more money off. This allowed me to place my order for the wild sockeye salmon with a great discount.

The postal packaging they use is outstanding. It is so well insulated that the fish arrives perfectly frozen every single time, with no softness whatsoever. It is packed the day before and delivered the next working day, looking as fresh as if it had been frozen that exact morning.

CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP - FISH SOCIETY

Have been trying to cancel this since July. Tried to get Bank to cancel it. Because it isn't a Direct Debit, they can't do anything.

Have written to their published email address - on 3/7/26; 3/8/26;9/9/26;14/9/26. No reponse at all except an email thanking me for my order and charging the membership fee again. My original order number was 929763 for fish worth £71.80 Membership discount £2.01 charged £69.79.

Hope this is sufficient for them to take action. If they want further details like my bank account numbers they can send a private email. Thankyou Trust Pilot for your role in this saga. Hope not to have to write again.

Refund for August and September, as well as October, would be a nice gesture. Susan Glass

The prawns are so delicious and the lobster was a good size

Fish quality good, but there was no benefit to being a member. It’s a waste of money - just order what you need when you need.

Haddock not fresh and not safe to eat as stunk and we did not eat this. Please refund the £7?
Kippers x 2 tiny sized like a small side plate size had very fish on them due to their small size.
Fish pie mix way over priced as manufactered and flavourless Pollock.
The steaks as already mentioned excellent which were Cod, Salmon, Hake.
Prawns very good.

If no refund we shall sadly contact our card provider as when I mentioned this before you did not offer this. To shop with you again please make sure all is fresh and priced fairly as well as a catch size.

Delicious as always

I have only eaten the contents of a tin of the "Icelandic cod liver" so far.
(The rest of the delivery is in the freezer)
I was nervous about the taste of the cod liver but it was as advertised and absolutely delicious with some good bread as an accompanyment. There is no unpleasant fishyness to taste at all and the texture is similar to foie gras. I shall certainly be buying more very soon.Previous experience suggests the other items I ordered will also come up to expectation taste wise

Great company and fish products

I don't have a very positive review, although it doesn't concern the company itself. The delivery was made to the wrong address, even though the recipient's address was clearly marked on the package. And since it was a very hot day, the contents melted badly and all the products thawed out.

Very good quality fish that is well packaged individually. I continue to enjoy your products which arrive fresh.
