We've have looked into this with our customer service team, and can see that the parcel had sadly been affected by some delays within DPD's network, and they had failed to notify the Customer Services team of this. We can confirm a full investigation has been actioned with DPD.
We can see that the team arranged for a replacement order to be redispatched on a next day delivery service to get this to you today.

I bought some excellent Australian wines
I used the Champagne Company to buy some of their excellent Australia wines. I am loving the wines. The delivery was prompt. The pre-delivery could have been a little better, but overall this is a good company to buy wine from.

Avoid this company
Avoid this company! They delivered the wrong product - a lesser (in my opinion not-drinkable) white burgundy without my consent, 24 bottles. Another bottle arrived smashed (which they are not even replacing as it is outside their 3 day courier window). Now they are trying to make me pay for return. Consumer rights don’t seem to concern this company. Their behaviour here clearly breaches them at least three times. They either (a) aren’t aware burgundy has significant vintage variation or (b) don’t rate that their customers might have a discerning palate and are just trying to pull a fast (and illegal) one. Either is very concerning. There are plenty of other more reputable suppliers that will actually deliver what you pay for, i suggest you use them instead.

We have looked into this with our Customer Services team, we appreciate that vintages matter, and can see that you were notified via email of the new vintage, prior to the dispatch of your order.
Customer services also confirm that should a vintage move on from the supplier without notice to us, we will always notify a customer prior to dispatch. We also advise on our order terms that in the absence of a response, we will send the available vintages to avoid delays with the order arriving as expected. We are shocked with the suggestion, and would like to firmly state that we are not in anyway trying to do anything underhand, and only have informed and tried to assist you, our customer where possible, and with the best intentions.
You have only informed us that you are unhappy with this order 11 days after delivery, and customer services are currently communicating with you on this matter.
