The Home Brew Shop Arvostelua 

I must say that I am absolutely appalled with the customer service I have just received from the Home Brew shop.

I work for a company called Atom Supplies Ltd and we purchase from yourselves fairly regularly for some of our botanicals and have never experienced a problem until today.

We are currently in the midsts of our SALSA accreditation checks and I called to ask for an answer to our supplier questionnaire and I was greeted by the rudest gentleman I think I have ever spoken with. He spoke to me like I was a complete fool and when I tried to explain where I was calling from, he spoke over me and wouldn't let me finish. I did not catch a name but I told him I hoped he didn't speak to any other customers in that manner and I very much hope his manager sees this and retrains him on how do deal with customers, even if he cannot help us.

Absolutely disgraceful.

I’ve used many suppliers in the past but thbs are just about the only ones that don’t have hidden delivery fees. Prices are competitive and orders are always well packed and delivered in good time.

I placed my first order a couple of weeks ago with the home brew shop. My order was dispatched promptly and arrived within a couple of days. One of the malts I ordered was just past its expiry date so I contacted them. They couldn't have been more helpful, it was just a mistake and a replacement was sent out to me the same day. I can't really fault them for that, and would certainly use them again.

These guys always dispatch immediately. My orders have always been correct as ordered. The quality of the ingredients / products is top notch. Highly recommended.

Tried them once never again the cheaper price is reflected in their products

Tried these guys for the first time recently and really can't fault their prices, speed of delivery or quality of equipment which is way better than the Coopers stuff I have been using for years.

I've ordered from these guys twice, and the only thing that beats their competitive pricing and quality products is their customer services.

I had ordered a certain cider kit this time around and a different but more expensive one was shipped instead, no big deal as I'm not in a rush for it anyway.

I called and spoke to a chap, he was polite but not overly enthusiastic, I was worried it was going to end in a row, I was wrong, the man asked me for my order number, confirmed the issue and said he'd send the correct one out immediately, and within 4 hours I received my tracking details, I asked if the courier would be collecting the incorrect kit for return or would I need to ship it to him, he told me to keep it by way of an apology!

I've seen there's some comments in these reviews about the customer services being "terrible", we all have off days.

I have experienced fantastic customer service and will continue to shop with the homebrew shop.

Terrible. For the second time in a row part of my order was not delivered. Worst still, I was told by the guy at Home Brew Shop was "you've had part of your order so its not the end of the world..." Many phone calls from me chasing and no enthusiasm to sort out the problem from The Home Brew Shop. I've been a regular monthly customer of theirs for years...I guess I expected better treatment.
Worst still I received an email asking for a review so I basically wrote what I have above, only to receive a 5 chapter ranting response pointing the finger at me and how he couldn't see what he'd done wrong. This bloke is a piece of work and has no idea how to speak to or communicate with customers

Good stuff!!! The Mrs was more than happy with what we received when I placed me order. Will use again.

When I went on their website I didn't think too much, looked a little out dated etc, but they have a wide range of products and I ordered from them and they were very prompt with delivery and everything was there.
Looking forward to the home brew and future use of The Home Brew Shop.

Postal service and range of products good. I will use Home Brew Shop again later in the spring when I recommence winemaking and brewing.

Ordered product very easily from your excellent website. Goods were delivered to Shetland in only two days. Anyone on the mainland should have no problem.

I have ordered from this company around ten times in the last year and every time it’s been excellent service. Items are always well packaged and arriving without any issue. Their website is always up to date with product stock so you know if what you are ordering is available. They also hold a great rage of stock with other shops do not seem to offer.

They also use one of the best courier company’s around who are willing to leave items in a safe place if requested (you just need to enter this in the note on checkout), this is handy for me as working 9-5 and not being at home when they deliver I do not have to make a 40 mile round trip at the weekend to the courier depot.

Be sure to try their own “Di and Danny's Golden Ale Beer Kit” its amazing!!! One of the best kits I have done.

10/10 for The Home Brew Shop from me, keep up the good work guys.

The order arrived quickly and worked well, the best beer I've made!

Ordered a lot of tins of malt, sugar, cleaner etc which can be quite heavy . When the box arrived it was almost destroyed. The box was a flimsy construction and all the items had just been thrown in the box with very little packaging. This had lead to all the tins being dented but the big problem was that the cleaner had split open, covering everything.

I phoned up and to their credit are sending me a new tub of VWP although the person on the phone could have been a bit more sympathetic after my spending 30 mins cleaning down the order as well as my kitchen.

Having recently discovered Trustpilot, I thought I'd write a few reviews of Suppliers I've been using. I was amazed to read the negative review from 'toni' in Manchester (have to say, a bit difficult to understand very well - toni , your grammar and spelling need a bit of attention to say the least !!). I've been ordering from The Home Brew Shop for years, previously in Wiltshire, and now in Wales. Never had a problem, super service, and always fast delivery. Also - brilliant free delivery over a certain spend, despite often very heavy parcels which must cost a fair bit.

i ordered i simple funnle and cloth OMG took 10 days from ordering 7/8 days from dispatch i order from the brew store in scotland it gets here in 3 days so i have a question how much have u paid the previous reviewers to say ur delivery is in 2 days.
