Right product, right price, right time.

We wanted to replace our bath tap with a bath mixer / shower tap. Taps Empire had the same range as our current tap so it matched the rest of the bathroom. It was a good price with an additional 5% discount and then finally it said normally dispatched in 2-4 days, but the tap arrived the day after we ordered. Excellent service, great product

Regarding Order #279326] (November 4, 2025) for Geberit Type 3 Ceramic Honeycomb Filter (#242.999.00.1), for which I paid £39.99 (including a supplement for express delivery!). My parcel was promised for delivery by DVD on 05 Nov between 12.34 and 13.24. As I could not be home at that time, I gave clear instructions for a "safe place" to leave. Apparently they were not followed as my parcel was not there when I returned home. The only "explanation" I received was a text saying that the driver had "missed" me. The delivery was again promised for 06 Nov. This time I was definitely at home all day, and no one ever came. But again I received a text saying that "we missed you", and another text referring to "Order 279326 DPD" and telling me that there had been "no response to calling card: Your consignment has been returned to the depot as the consignee was not present." I have no idea where the driver attempted to make my delivery, but it was evidently not to my address-- to which, be it noted, neither Royal Mail or Amazon appear to experience any difficulty in making deliveries. All this is sad since it is evident to me that, in general, people find this to be a good company.
On 16th November, in reply to what I have written above, Taps Empire responded "Unfortunately, DPD's tracking shows that they were unable to successfully deliver the parcel after two attempts (on the 5th and 6th of November). As no further instructions were provided to DPD, the parcel was automatically returned to us." My response to that is that DPD were only "unable" to deliver my package in the sense that they evidently did not go to the correct address. As for "no further instructions" being provided, on receiving DPD's text message about their failure to deliver, I wrote a rather careful response that might, I think, have helped them find my address--only to have it bounced back to me because apparently what they had sent to me was a "no reply" text. They can hardly expect to receive "further instructions" if they set things up so that it is impossible for "further instructions" to be received!
If Taps Empire are serious about being sorry for my bad experience, it is still possible for them to redeem themselves by sending to me the piece I ordered, which is still needed--only this time I suggest sending it by Royal Mail, who seem not have any difficulty in finding my address. Moreover, for the avoidance of further error, I would, if asked, be happy to provide photographs of my front door and also of the "safe place" where the package can be left if I am not at home.

Easy to use order system, speedy response, kept up to date on delivery schedule, timely delivery.

They take the money and within a few hours I get an email saying item needs to be ordered. Wait 4 weeks.

Item arrived terribly packaged for a start. Royal Mail tried to deliver the returned package to Taps Empire on a Saturday and as they are not open, it could not be delivered. The package somehow got lost in the Royal Mail system was never rescheduled for a delivery, thus being past the 14 day return window, taps Empire were absolutely unwilling to help and take the item back. Shocking customer service I will never recommend or use them again.

Easy payment, fast delivery although noticed pricing for the product I bought (yearly replacement of a toilet filter) has jumped up nearly 20%.....sign of the times!
