Sold me a car with cosmetic and a technical issue and on top of that owe me £179 refund which is due from 28Feb. Despite sending emails, they keep saying they will refund it today and it never happens. Have raised this with their centre manager who is still searching for a replacement vehicle and yet to provide a date. So much hassle for buying an "Approved" used car.

Brilliant car buy experience

So Hassle free I wondered if I'd missed something..
Matt, Lewis and the team took the stress out of buying my car when other dealerships had not been so supportive.
It was nice to see such good customer service, from walking through the door to driving away with my new car, having sold my car to them in part-exchange.

Couldn't fault the customer service
Couldn't fault the customer service, the "Jason's" were spot on. Friendly, professional and did exactly what was promised. Must say the coffee wasn't quite "Audi Leicester" but the chocolate trolley made up for that.
Car was well prepared, there was an issue which I reported to Jason, and he called offering to assist towards its resolve, without me asking for anything. That is services I've never received from any dealership, and I've brought from many.
Couldn't recommend the Jason's enough top top service.

Car I purchased is lovely … shame about the hard sell tactics
Car I purchased is lovely .. however Sas and Ray who served me hard pushed finance and an extended warranty. Finance not a problem, I paid it off but the extended warranty with Bumper.co is .. I was on my own and driven 4 hours to get there. They took advantage. I’ve requested for it to be cancelled with Sytner and Bumper and in the end I cancelled the direct debit. I’m now getting phone calls from Bumper chasing payment. Supposedly this was 1 years extended warranty where I could take the car should I need to, to any garage for repair. Not according to Bumpers website which I checked when I got home. It’s a payment plan for paying for repairs only at certain garages.

Be careful buying an "Approved Used" vehicle here
I bought a car from BMW Wolverhampton under the "Used Approved" scheme. Supposedly it was "thoroughly checked by the experts" and given an MOT before being put on sale.
Immediately after driving it home I found that the rear left light cluster was defective. Then, following a visit to my local BMW dealership to fix that, they found that the nearside front suspension mount needs replacing. "Thoroughly checked" my posterior. Thank goodness BMW Newport are more diligent and professional than BMW Wolverhampton.
When I picked the car up, I was completely unfamiliar with BMWs and I questioned at the time what I thought was slightly odd suspension behaviour, to be told that it was "a characteristic of the car".
So that must be over a grand's worth of warranty work immediately required on a BMW Used Approved car that had been given an MOT and 'thoroughly checked by experts" at BMW Wolverhampton just before I picked it up. Why did BMW Wolverhampton not spot this but BMW Newport did? What else have they missed, or ignored? I've also been seeing odd gearbox behaviour.
Had I been aware of these issues needing to be fixed on such a low-milage car before I bought it, I might have made a different decision. I have the feeling they would have said anything to shift the car.
I was told by the Wolverhampton salesman that the car had automatic satnav map updates for life, which I subsequently discovered it does not. It costs £79 per year.
I was also told, upon enquiring about how I could connect to the car's WiFi hotspot, that it was only for use by BMW mechanics to get data from the car. I knew this was nonsense, however, and a handy YouTube video showed me how. It did leave a bad taste in my mouth, however.
I made the mistake of divulging that I was new to BMWs and I think Sytner BMW Wolverhampton took advantage of this. I'm very disappointed with them, but looking at the dismal ratings BMW UK has on Trustpilot, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised.
Thankfully, Sytner BMW Newport seems to be on the ball.

4 Year Service Package
I purchased my BMW August 2020 with an addition 4 year service package Whilst trying to book my car in for a service at your branch I was informed that my next service was not due until October 2024 and therefore fell outside the 4 year plan. I was informed I would not be allowed to bring the service forward to August therefore I have only received 3 year plan and not the 4 years I paid for.
I have since been able to book my service with Lookers BMW Stafford, under the 4 year plan. Travelling to Stafford will be very inconvenient. I will not be using Sytner’s in the future

Excellent service as opposed to in the moment sales
Having had the unfortunate experience of damaging a tyre on a two week old new car which required a new part which was out of stock! Lewis and Jack in the parts team could not of been more welcoming, helpful, polite and competent BUT the most impressive part of this experience was that they were totally focussed on solving my problem as a customer rather than just taking my money! They arranged for my part to be delivered over night to a “competitor” dealer to solve MY problem rather than what I expect are their own sales objectives. These guys are BMW Sytner and best of all, customer service exemplars, excellent!
