Unfair cancellation and poor communication
Tried to change car details as we were collecting a new one the next day. Got a message saying that they could not cover the new car, but gave no reason. Assume it was because it was an EV. Cannot get hold of them by telephone, only by online message. Ended up taking a new policy out with another company. Now they want £52 for cancelling a policy even though they are the ones who won`t insure new car??

We do offer an online only policy, if this is the type of policy you have you'd only be able to contact us online and not on the phone.
We wouldn't charge you any cancellation fee if we're unable to cover your new car as this isn't your fault.

I have had the most terrible time
I have had the most terrible time, I broke down on Saturday 19th September. Tried to call swiftcover got no answer. Called the breakdown for road side recovery and they had no record of me. I was stuck for 3 hours and had to pay for a company to come and recover my car. Still an ongoing battle, the breakdown company are saying my policy wasnt validated and swiftcover are just saying we cant call them it has to be me which I have done about 10 times and not getting the help or refund for paying out. I wouldnt use them again
