I had to cancel my policy with swift…
I had to cancel my policy with swift because they couldn't insure the lease car I was changing to.
I was told at first that there was no cancellation fee when I questioned about a rebate I was first of all informed no rebate was due. When I questioned this I was then informed a rebate of £38.92 was due.
When my rebate hit my account it was £32.34.
I have questioned this at least 3 times Swift told me I gave them the wrong date, which I didn't their customer service person got the wrong date twice, both times I corrected them.
Then they told me I was informed of the £32.34 which i wasn't
I know this isn't much money on the grand scheme of things but if it was the other way round Swift would just cancel my policy.
I have been with Swift for just under 1 year and have not made a claim.
Just be careful if you need to change your car.

The reason for the 1 star is that I'd cancelled my renewal policy days before hand only to find that swift has taken the full amount from my account and yes they've agreed to refund me the full amount but I've got to wait up to a week or so to receive the money back into my account which has left me short for my household outgoings.
Quick enough to take the money therefore should be quick enough to return it
