Everything was well organised except the Preston overnight stay we did not get information and the lift only took two people at one time. The food was good but the way it was served was to serve each dish one at a time leaving most of the table without food for quite a time, so the table was unable to eat and finish together

Very good holiday. Good food, accommodation and entertainment. The driver maddie was the best driver we have been with. Only problem was the changeover in cambridge

Hotel was great the only thing that needs to be mentioned is the walk up the steps to the river in the sky I only just made it good job I had two walking sticks as I’m a 82. year old with bad legs and COPD

An excellent break. We have never visited the North East before and this trip with the planned excursions looked ideal for us. Everything from the first minute went swimmingly. The feeder coach was on time, the pick ups went like clockwork. There was a tiny glitch at the exchange, due in the main to traffic conditions, which can never be predicted. The hotel at Gosforth Park was very good, a little tired looking in places, but the staff, the accommodation and the food certainly made up for that. The driver, Derek, was too rate. His knowledge and understanding of the area was outstanding, and his ability to articulate to the coach what was happening, made this an exceptional trip. All the excursions were first class, and it was great to hear, after last week’s visit, that The Beamish Living Museum has only yesterday won, The Museum Of The Year’ award. I can’t speak any more highly of this trip, and recommend this, and Sunrise, enough.

The whole holiday was absolutely wonderful from the driver the excursions and the hotel. The food was delicious and the staff very helpful. Also we really enjoyed the evening entertainment. The bonus was the whole 5 days was glorious weather. Thank you once again.

The tours and hotel were great. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the food. Breakfast okay evening meals left a lot to be desired. We were eating at 7.30pm and choice was sparse. The milk and fruit juices were so watered down that they became unrecognisable

Great value and destinations...our hotel exceeded our expections ...The driver excellent...all operations executed well at changeover points. money well spent.

The taxi pick up and interchange for our trip to Scotland all worked well. Comfortable tour coach though not much leg room. On outward journey we left the lunch stop at 2pm and arrived at hotel at 6.20 with no stop in between which we felt was too long. The main hotel itself was lovely. Our room in the annexe was quite basic. No bedside lights, no toiletries provided. As room not cleaned we had to get out own drink supplies from baskets in reception which were often out of milk and not always someone on reception to ask. The food was adequate but nothing special. On first morning only museli offered as a cereal, day 2 and 3 also cornflakes and rice crispies but on last 2 days no museli. The tea/coffee machines in the restaurant were only available at breakfast. The driver was pleasant and the excursions were lovely and well planned. The only niggle was that on the last day we were taken out in the afternoon but were not timed to leave the hotel until 1.30 (actually left at 1.45) The hotel did not do lunch and there were no shops nearby By the time we had reached our destination and bought lunch it was 2.30pm. My husband is diabetic and needs to eat at regular intervals to maintain his sugar levels so it was fortunate we had taken some snacks from home. Despite the few observations mentioned they did not unduly distract from a pleasant holiday.

The Irish trip could have been very successful had the itinerary been better thought out people were not interested in the famine visits catterick on Shanon was worth a half day strocksby was only worth a fleeting glimpse or not at all past by some really interesting counties and villages and small towns that would have been more interesting the hotel was faultless top marks for them the tours need serious rethink

It all went, each day was worked out and it was just right. The hotel was ok too.

As usual our journey went without a hitch, from pick up point and the journey to interchange and then the onward journey to destination, all with complete efficiency.
We were pleased with hotel, we had a sea view, it was clean, staff very very nice and friendly, food was good.
We enjoyed the daily excursions .
The return journey also went without a hitch.
I have has numerous holidays with Sunrise and only every found fault with one hotel.

Appalling. The Grand hotel Scarborough is anything but grand. The food was slops. The rooms tired and dirty. Dogs running loose. This company let's itself down by using this hotel. Even our driver refused to speak to the young man with a bad attitude. I'm not sure if he was the manager but he was totally uncaring. As was the response to our complaints about this hotel. A member of staff from Sunrise should stay. It's the only way they would know how appallingly bad it is.
