Awful customer service - avoid
I ordered a pair of Classics4 Pro for my wife, and the design ended up being way too wide/large for her. I've been trying to return my order for the past 10 days and all I get are canned responses from their Sol bot. Their standardised returns process does not cover my jurisdiction. I'll never order from them again. So much for being a B Corp!....

I placed an order on Aug 9 and since…
I placed an order on Aug 9 and since then there have been no updates, no responses to my multiple emails to orders@ or support@, only auto replies from their bot and even those are completely useless. That’s not the first time I buy sunnies from them and I was quite patient about this order, but there is always a limit.
UPDATE: Another week has passed. SunGod has still not replied. I have been forced to initiate a formal dispute with Klarna to protect my money due to complete customer abandonment.
UPDATE2: On Sep 25 SunGod finally reached out to me with an explanation for the delay - stock outs for lenses for sunnies that were a gift in my order. The order has been shipped on Sep 28. I still feel quite flat about the whole experience and I'm sure accepting the order, i.e. not canceling it, was the right way.

Please avoid this company and don’t believe the absolute rubbish they spout ! Item 2 weeks late, not the item I asked for, claimed it was an upgrade , I contacted to say I have not received a refund and showed proof of postage and delivery and was then asked to return the item ! Over the summer, our Customer Experience operation got away from us and some customers were left waiting far too long for straightforward fixes. We’re now back on top of that and working through what went wrong so we can improve the experience properly.
In your case, a faulty pair should have been dealt with quickly. Instead, the returns process dragged on and the replacement only arrived after your holiday, which I completely understand took the point out of it.
I’m glad the replacement was eventually sent. I’ve also reached out to you privately, as I’d like to do what I can to leave you with a much better experience of SunGod.

Absolutely fantastic service and company once you can get through the Ai help desk the people at sun god are superb there customer services is second to none and they are very customer orientated and driven having a complex situation I needed dealing with SEB absolutely went above and beyond to help me resolve this matter I sent back the pair I had and Seb stayed in contact right the way through and my new pair has arrived today
All I can say is great guy great company fantastic products and absolutely amazing experience please keep up the amazing work guys

Lange gewartet & dann gings schnell
Brille ist unverhältnismäßig schnell kaputt gegangen dafür das diese so teuer sind. Vor 2 Wochen dem Kundendienst wegen der Garantie geschrieben & bis heute keine Antwort erhalten.
EDIT: Nachdem ich eine Antwort erhalten hatte, ging alles super schnell & unkompliziert. Von daher gibts die 4 Sterne!

UPDATE: this has now been resolved.
Ali, SunGod's co-founder, replied here and emailed me directly. He acknowledged what went wrong and covered the cost of a replacement pair, which I've now ordered.
Worth adding that the product was never the issue — I've been a customer since 2019 and the glasses themselves are excellent.
Fair play to them for sorting it.
Abysmal customer service. I contacted these guys the day after ordering my glasses as I wanted to change the colour of the prescription lenses. Contacted them on the 17th of August and am still waiting for a reply. I’ve had regular sunglasses from Sun God before, and they’re great, but for prescription glasses, unless you’re absolutely sure… Go elsewhere. I don't even know if I'm going to receive these glasses as their website is telling me that I have not placed an order with them despite taking my money.

Extremely poor customer service
Same as lots of others, order placed and payment taken but no delivery after 3 weeks. No response from sungod so chargeback requested through bank.

Absolutely LOVE my SunGods
Absolutely LOVE my SunGods. I've had mine for over 10 years and have only added to my collection over the years. The biggest draw card is the strength/flexibility which for anyone with young children cannot be overstated! If they do happen to be damaged, as mine were recently, their lifetime warranty (no questions asked) is fantastic, with you actually working with REAL PEOPLE to resolve any issues!!

Disappointing sales support
Oh golly wish I had read these reviews before I placed my order! Having the same experience as so many on here.
Placed my order 2 weeks ago, had an order confirmation and money taken but no sign of sunglasses or that they have been dispatched. Messaged after a week to get the AI Bot who has forwarded on my messages to get a response in 3 days and have heard nothing. If you keep your customers in the loop it would be so different. So yesterday I messaged to cancel my order to get another AI response. What is going on? Come on SunGod do you really want these reviews.

Poor customer service and some issues with the frame
The glasses look good and the lens is a quality one but parts of the frame are not well designed. The rubber parts of the arms perished within six months! Very poor customer service with a useless chatbot and no obvious option to email them or speak with them. I sent a message over a week ago and so far no reply. There’s plenty of other options and my next pair of cycling glasses will not be from Sungod.

Thanks for the positive comments on the look and lenses, and I’m sorry the rubber parts on the arms failed so quickly. We’ve recently redesigned these based on customer feedback, and the issue has now been addressed, but I’m sorry you experienced it with your pair.
I’m glad you were able to get replacement earsocks through our Lifetime Guarantee, but your point on the service is fair. It should have been much easier to get a clear response from a real person.

Really poor service and aftercare…
Really poor service and aftercare despite a good product. I made an error on my order and immediately emailed asking for a change. Someone emailed back saying it had been amended. When it arrived it hadn’t, and now despite emailing the person and support multiple times they have completely ignored me for 2 weeks. A real shame, whilst I own multiple pairs, I think it will be my last out of principle.

Great baseline warranty and good customer service
First off the fact that they have a lifetime warranty is, inofitself, brilliant. When I went register because I had sat on my 5 year old glasses, they were super helpful at finding my order number so.i could make a replacement glasses application.

I broke my sunglasess and contacted them whilst I am away for an extended period. The service I recieved was first rate and I now have a new pair waiting for my return home.
I love the glasses as they fit so well and have no worry about them falling off. Best pair I have owned.

An honest review of my Sungods (2 pairs)
I've bought 2 pairs: one with the upgraded BKO lens and one without, but both are Renegade frames.
I find them lighter than some brands, which is refreshing, since they don't feel heavy or keep slipping.
I wore my KO lenses while driving yesterday, and again this morning. They seemed decent in lower light and bright sun, too.
Normal lenses are perfectly adequate if you are wearing them socially, casually, or around the pool. If you want the BKO lens, you pay for what you get. I personally don't think there’s a massive difference in what I use them for. Maybe BKO for more purposeful tasks. Others will disagree with me and won't have anything else.
You pay your money and take your choice.
Customer service and communication were good; they told me my order would be late before I had to do anything. They kept me informed on stock levels and when they would arrive.
