I went to claim on my lifetime guarantee but couldn’t find the original order number. The SunGod team found my order and had the replacement lens shipped to me in a few days.

The whole customer service experience with SunGod has been impeccable and quite frankly, I have never seen customer service quite like it. Efficient, polite and professional.

The best there is!!!

Bought 2 pairs of sunglasses over 3 weeks ago. Received an automatic order confirmation and then crickets for over a week. Sent an email requesting a status update. Crickets for another week. So, I sent a stronger email stating that I wanted a refund. Crickets. Crickets. Crickets.

I ended up contacting Amex and they reversed charged it for me. Still nothing from SunGod. Bad form.

Absolutely appalling customer service. The AI bot replies and says the query is being passed to “the team” who then respond over 1 week later, if you’re lucky. My order was delivered 5 weeks after purchasing, despite the money being taken from my account immediately. The order was only sent as a result of my persistent chasing via instagram messaging. The subsequent returns process has been equally horrendous and I’ve been left with no option but to raise a dispute with my bank

Midrange sunglasses are a myth - these are no better than the cheap ones. I went with the classics 8ko polarised lenses, still awful. I expected mid range as its a midrange price, but the quality of the product is cheap/low quality, not mid range. Trying to return them now. Odd returns process, they asked for a picture? If they were damaged or defective i understand the need for a pic, but returning due to poor quality. They know what their glasses look like, why do they want me to take a picture?

My sunglasses turned up with two small chips on their lenses. I contacted support and got an immediate AI response telling me someone would be in touch. I then chased twice over the next 2-3 weeks - no response.

I finally got a response from them (again AI) pushing me to a claims platform.

That responded quite quickly telling me the damage wasn't covered under the warranty.

Pretty dire service really.

UPDATE: Updating this to a 3 star, as they did eventually send out some replacement lenses.

Great sunglasses & excellent customer service. I made use of the lifetime guarantee after having had my sunglasses for 5 years & they came back good as new; so much better both environmental and financially than having to buy a new pair! Can’t fault them as a product or company. Highly recommended.

Bought some sunnies. Looked decent but nothing special for the price. Also, for that price there is no case to carry the glasses (you have to pay extra for it), just a little wipe/bag.
Now the good part. Their lifetime guarantee is not what it seems. My glasses got run over by a car leaving scratches on the glass. They say they don't guarantee scratched lenses thus no service. Even though my glasses fell during a bikeride.

Was a huge fan and advocating SunGod.
Placed a few orders almost a month ago. Chased a couple of times via support too. Funds went out of my account, but I can't track my order online, have had 0 confirmation that it has been shipped and no replies to my support tickets (last one raised almost 2 weeks ago) whatsoever.

2 year old pair of renegades had a busy life then got crushed ina shoulder bag and the frame broke-- replaced via the lifetime guarantee in 48 hours- what a sterling and unique service- well done

Put the shades (Renegades) to one side, they are great!
It’s the customer service that gets 5 stars.
Following my order I was advised there would be a delay with the delivery, for no there reason they were overwhelmed with orders.
I bought them for a forthcoming holiday and feared they wouldn’t arrived in time. But when I explained my issue, Abby jumped straight in. My delivery was upgraded to a next day service at no extra cost and Abby continued to email me with updates relating to the order status and they arrived in good time.

Shocking Customer Service. Money Debited, Item not delivered, zero communication from company.

I ordered a pair of replacement lenses and a frame conversion kit from Sungod on the 12th August. it is now over 4 weeks later and whilst the money was promptly debited from my account, the items have not been delivered. I have tried contacting the customer service team on multiple occasions for a status update only to be responded to by their utterly useless AI chat bot Sol.

At this point, it's nothing more than theft and I will be filing a charge back from my Bank.

Do not trust Sungod, do not purchase their products. Incredibly disappointing experience.

Terrible customer service and a completely unacceptable returns process. I ordered a pair of glasses that unfortunately do not fit me, so I simply wanted to return them. However, the returns portal does not work, and despite contacting customer service by email, I have received no response whatsoever.

01.10.2026 Update: Issue resolved very well

I wanted to update my original review, as SunGod did eventually resolve the issue very well. They arranged the return, covered all the costs and issued a full refund. They also apologised for the problems with the returns process and customer service.

While the initial experience was frustrating, I really appreciate how they handled it in the end and took responsibility for the situation. Thank you for resolving everything so fairly.

then they magically issued the refund, more than a month after they received my returned items

I should have stick with Oakley or other brands... I paid 150 pounds for a cycling glasses. Yes, I bait clicked on an instagram add. A week later I received them, they were offering 50% off, or 2x1, which was disgusting. When I open the the box, the glasses quality felt like cheap plastic. Even glasses from Amazon would feel better. Then, unfortunately the glasses broke when I was removing them from my head, without applying too much force. I contacted them on instagram to share my dissapointment with the brand, and they suggested me to go through the life time warranty. I filled the form, and I was contacted just one to be asked if I could removed the shard of the lense from one of the stems. After I replied several times, they are just ghosting me. Really poor service

Fast delivery UK to UK, poor after sales service. I have issues with my pair, email CS asking for help, no response whatsoever.

I still don't know what is wrong with my pair, and no one email back, unable to use what I have paid for and now sitting in the drawer gathering dust.

I ordered a pair of Classics4 Pro for my wife, and the design ended up being way too wide/large for her. I've been trying to return my order for the past 10 days and all I get are canned responses from their Sol bot. Their standardised returns process does not cover my jurisdiction. I'll never order from them again. So much for being a B Corp!....

I have been a loyal SunGod customer since 2021. I've purchased two custom pairs of Velan sunglasses, and they are fantastic! I have sensitive eyes and these glasses have provided a very high level of comfort/protection. Additionally, I've received numerous compliments on the style of the glasses. Anytime I need to contact SunGod they've been extremely responsive and helpful. I am a SunGod user for life!

I’ve been extremely impressed with SunGod’s customer service and warranty support. The entire process was seamless, with excellent communication and a genuine commitment to resolving my issue quickly and professionally.

A special mention to Ryan, who was fantastic throughout. He was responsive, helpful and kept me updated at every stage, making the whole experience incredibly straightforward.

I placed an order on Aug 9 and since then there have been no updates, no responses to my multiple emails to orders@ or support@, only auto replies from their bot and even those are completely useless. That’s not the first time I buy sunnies from them and I was quite patient about this order, but there is always a limit.

UPDATE: Another week has passed. SunGod has still not replied. I have been forced to initiate a formal dispute with Klarna to protect my money due to complete customer abandonment.

UPDATE2: On Sep 25 SunGod finally reached out to me with an explanation for the delay - stock outs for lenses for sunnies that were a gift in my order. The order has been shipped on Sep 28. I still feel quite flat about the whole experience and I'm sure accepting the order, i.e. not canceling it, was the right way.

Please avoid this company and don’t believe the absolute rubbish they spout ! Item 2 weeks late, not the item I asked for, claimed it was an upgrade , I contacted to say I have not received a refund and showed proof of postage and delivery and was then asked to return the item ! Please please avoid.
