I would not take my vehicle anywhere else!

My initial experience was excellent. They offered a competitive price for my parents px, a discount on the car and were very accommodating in bringing the car over from another dealership. The sales manager was friendly and communication was initially very good.

Unfortunately, things went downhill once the car was being prepared. I was told the car would be serviced and various cosmetic items addressed, but there were repeated delays and issues right up to collection. I was already three hours into my journey when I was told the car had developed a fault. I continued to the dealership after being told it should be ready by 5pm, only to then be told it wouldn’t be ready. When I arrived, I was subsequently told the fault had been fixed and it would only take a couple of hours.

When I eventually viewed the car, I noticed a parking dent on the passenger door, which I raised immediately and was told would be looked into as a goodwill gesture. This was still there when the car was eventually delivered.

The collection itself was also far from straightforward. The car wouldn’t charge, despite me needing to get it home, so I had to return in a dealer car with barely any fuel. I was told to fill it up and would be reimbursed, but despite sending the receipt, I am still waiting for this reimbursement.

Four days later the wrong car was delivered due to an administrative error, meaning the driver had to make the three hour journey back and return again the following day with the correct car.

Once the correct car was delivered, I then had the opportunity to properly inspect it rather than the rushed inspection at the dealership. I noticed paint peeling/bubbling on the alloys and missing ISOFIX covers, which was particularly disappointing given the standards I would expect from a main dealer.

Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. The car arrived with multiple warning messages, including Active Lane Keeping fault, Brake Assist restricted and Dipped Beam Control fault. I was initially told these could potentially be temporary and clear themselves, but three days later they were still present. This meant the adaptive cruise control, one of the key features of the car, could not be used. My parents have since completed a four hour journey without being able to use it. There is also constant squeaking from the brakes.

I also had to repeatedly chase for the service history and brake service records, despite being told these would be provided.

I appreciate that issues can happen with used cars and that not everything is within the sales team’s control. However, it’s the number of issues, repeated delays and amount of chasing required that has made this experience so disappointing.

The initial service was genuinely very good and they were competitive on price, which is why I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, the overall experience has fallen well short of what I would expect from a main dealer, particularly when buying a car for my parents.

Hopefully the outstanding issues can now be resolved, but based on the experience so far, I would have difficulty recommending them without reservations.

A very pleasant greeting by reception staff. Very attentive. The show room was very clean and comfortable.

I had to wait for the courtesy car to be returned so I was delayed for 45 minutes

Firstly, I’d like to say that the help and service Maz provided were excellent. He’s a real credit to the team. I’d also like to compliment the reception team for being so welcoming and hospitable throughout my visit.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the loan car experience.

I was provided with an Audi, and shortly after leaving the dealership, two warning lights appeared on the dashboard. When I called, Daisy answered and mentioned that the team was already aware of the faults. I found this quite concerning, especially as I had made it clear when booking my car that I would be travelling up north. I don’t think it’s acceptable to provide customers with a vehicle that is already known to have faults.

Shortly afterwards, I also discovered that the cruise control wasn’t working. At that point, I called again and advised that I would be returning the loan car. I explained that I would rather take my own car back and rebook the service when a Porsche loan car was available.

When I returned, Daisy apologised and kindly offered me a Porsche, which she described as a manager’s car. I appreciated her efforts to resolve the situation, and the Porsche itself was absolutely fine.

However, it did leave me questioning why I wasn’t provided with a Porsche courtesy car in the first place. If one was available after I raised the issue, it seems reasonable that I could have been given it from the outset, rather than being sent away in an Audi with known faults.

I’m also unsure why, when purchasing and servicing a Porsche, customers are given an Audi as a courtesy car. If I wanted to drive an Audi, I would have bought one. It’s simply not the level of service or customer experience I expect from a Porsche dealership.

I want to reiterate that I have no complaints whatsoever about Maz. He was professional, helpful and a pleasure to deal with throughout.

My disappointment is with the dealership’s overall approach to courtesy cars. Providing vehicles with known faults is unacceptable, and I believe Porsche customers should be offered Porsche courtesy cars that reflect the premium experience associated with the brand.

So please stay away from theses places there are better people out there that would treat you correctly and for your future cars . They will sack him soon after the penny drops 🙏

Faye on receptions is so friendly and always greets you with a welcoming smile and looks after you. Jamie in service kept me updated and sorted out a warranty repair for me again excellent service. Give these two a raise !

Flushed oil system and coolant systems. Took a while but they were thorough and got it sorted

Looked after very well while waiting to drop off my car for 2 days and also on pick up all work was done
