Hi All Sneaker Heads,

If you're buying sneakers from sportchek.ca (Canadian Tire Company) in Canada be aware they are selling open box, factory seconds and the old switcharooni.

1. First time bought shoes. 3 months later relized one was a 10.5 and one was a 11. (Should of stopped here.)
2. 2nd time buying shoes show up with one laced, marked and clearly a floor demo. Missing one lace. Call customer support and said they would send me a shoe lace.
3. 2 days later a case manager said they cannot ship shoe laces so my only option was to repack, print a label go to the post office and return item. Or relace them myself, They do have custom laces.
4. The shoes didn't look like the picture, missing the ankle cushion piece. Factory second?

Just a heads up. I am sick of companies pulling the wish.com model. I will not spend 2 hours of my life returning something that they messed up on.

I will never again shop at crappy tire or sport chek again in my life.

It is no shock to me everyone else is choosing Amazon to shop nowadays. I tried supporting a different store and I deeply regret. As people have already mentioned, you can't cancel orders they have not shipped yet. Their customer service is horrendous. To reduce costs they ship products using horrible cheap couriers, like purolator, and to top it all up they send wrong products. I can tell it is a poorly managed company, not customer oriented. Lots to learn from amazon. I will not be surprised if this company goes out of business in the future.

online returns & exchange policy is worst in Canada

I recently placed an online order from Sportchek that was fulfilled by the Park Royal location. When I received the parcel, I opened the box and saw the items were poorly packed, looked like old laundry when I opened the box. Clothing items were dirty, wrinkled and rolled up in a ball. No care or respect for spending money with this company. Never again will I spend money here again, I will order from a US online retailer before supporting this local excuse for a sports store.

I returned the shoes by mail and it's been 2 month no refund yet, I always shop online on many platforms, the Sport Chek has the worst customer service ever, it is like scammers .

went to sport chek at sundridge to buy a mma mouthpiece and a ball glove for my grandson...

the store is now 2/3 of overpriced women's 'sport' clothes with some hockey, baseball, and bicycle stuff...found nothing...

in fact it took 3 people to show me where the mouth guards are and when i asked to open a package to make sure it's the type of guard i need, the lady said no...

set it down, thanked the kid for helping me and left the store to never to come back...

this is a store where women can spend more time looking good in their overpriced stuff instead of being serious for sports...

I love coming to Sport Check for fitness apparel for running, hiking equipment, and shoes. A lot of locations I've been to always seem to be sold out in bigger shoe sizes for women, which can be annoying. However I always find great clothes at reasonable prices. It seems like they always have a sale going on! One of the only downsides to shopping at Sport Chek is constantly being bothered by employees trying to get you to sign up for the Canadian Tire mastercard.

Done a few online shoe and clothing orders through the pandemic and they've been good. Orders could be processed a bit quicker, but wasn't an unreasonable delay, a few days. Easy to find items on sale, from brands that I like. One item they didn't have so they sent me a coupon for a huge discount. No complaints.

They have been utilizing a courier service named JoeyCo. I have only had problems with this specific carrier. Three separate orders within 8 months and not one phone call from a single driver.

Luckily for me, I was helped by three understanding SportChek reps. which resolved the issues with my orders.

I never take time to sit and write a review unless it’s positive, however I am in shock that Sportchek customer service has led me here to review my recent “purchase” of absolutely nothing. I made an online Back to School purchase for $307 this morning for my two boys. Upon pressing checkout I received two, emails from my bank that 307 was taken out of my bank twice. ( yes I used a debit Visa) When I looked and saw indeed I was out $614 for a single purchase I immediately cancelled and received half back?! That’s where the sports chek online customer service rep informed me that they have an Authorization charge and I will receive that back in five to seven days? Never, have I had this happen when using direct funds from my account. And in the exact amount of my original amount? Fishy. Now I am out back to school monies for a week. Shameful customer service and horrible excuses to an online mistake. Second guessing them as a good store.

Awful. I ordered 3 pairs of shorts online that were on sale and they delivered them to some random location in Burnaby instead of my home address in Vancouver.

What makes this infuriating is that I'm the one to raise the issues and concerns. I'm the one following up. No one from Sportchek's end is following up or giving me any update - I'm the one who has to continually raise the issue.

While the phone operator I spoke to was nice and was just doing her job, I found that the time the almighty Case Management Team would take to resolve my issue would be as long as three weeks. That's unacceptable.

PARENTS BEWARE !!! BUY YOUR BIKES ELSEWHERE...

Buy a bike for my son last summer...
Just months later the petal breaks.. Take it shop to get fixed and apparently it'll be over a year to get the part...
So now my son has no bike or I have to go spend $300 on a new bike ...

Expired vitamins was sent twice.
I received 7 expired vitamins out of 8 that I have ordered. I returned all the expired vitamins at the store, and they placed an order for me online. I got the package yesterday, and all 5 boxes were all expired again!!! This is alarming! What will happen to other customers who ordered the same vitamins but don't bother checking the expiration dates?? Very disappointing, Sportchek!!!

As a review for the service it is a nice experience you receive what you ordered on time. They may be a bit slow but items do arrive and not much later. Returns in store are pretty easy and hassle free.
I am not rating the merchandise or the prices just the shopping experience.

It seems everytime I try to order anything from their website that says it is in stock they do not actually have the item in stock and later cancel my order without notifying me. Also, if you search for specific items it will bring them up and say they are on clearance, but not available online then when you click to check availability in store the site freezes. Horrible experiences, bad inventory.

I ordered a hat. I can track the order via a Sport Chek page on Narvar.com. The hat arrived less than a week later, in good condition. Would use again

Sportchek has an aggressive policy towards sanitizing customers' hands before they enter the store. With so many better options I won't shop here until this changes. I know how to manage my own hygiene thank you

I have found this company sells junk for unbelievable high prices. The descriptions of their products are inaccurate and the product reviews are false. They must employ people to write favorable reviews thus misleading many. In fact I wrote a unfavourable review and it would not post. AvOID this franchise as it is not operating on the square.
