I have hidden disabilities
I have hidden disabilities. I rang the Nottingham office two weeks ago asking for assistance with my luggage when I get to East midland airport they said they would look in to it and get back to me so far they have not. They also said that there are trolleys to use at the airport. So today rang the Derby office and was told that they would not be able to do anything. I am giving them 3 weeks notice we don't fly out to Jersey until the 14th of September.
Not good. It is discrimination against disabled people. I don't know what the holiday will be like. I always have assistance on the trains and when I went to Guernsey in May I went by ferry and they were so helpful.

We are very sorry to hear about your concerns regarding assistance for your upcoming trip to Jersey and appreciate how important it is to have clear information and support arranged in advance.
Following your enquiry, we contacted both East Midlands Airport and the airline to clarify what assistance is available. We have been advised that assistance cannot be provided from the taxi drop-off point. Instead, passengers requiring support should make their way to the Special Assistance desk inside the departures terminal, where airport staff will then assist with the check-in process and onwards to the aircraft.

We are sorry if there has been any delay or misunderstanding in communicating this information to you. Great trips, could work on their sales skills
I cant comment on the trip yet as we haven't been but I have been on lots of Skills trips before and always really enjoyed them.
I was pleased that your advisors were able to get us tickets, when I was unable to book on line.
I was not pleased with the customer service advisors manor. She was very short and sharp and barking at me ie. "Long card number!" There was no friendliness there. Given it's a sales and customer service role, you'd think the staff would have more communication skills.

Wells next sea day trip Long day !
Pick up at 830 from Arnold Such a long drive to Wells We had a 20 min break at Grantham and didn’t arrive in Wells until about 1230 Also the coach dropped us off close to the beach end where the RNLI is based so it was a very long walk back to the main road in the centre . Estimate about 2km It was a pleasant walk but it would have been preferable if the drop off wasn’t so far away plus we had to walk back to pick up the coach going back Didn’t get back to Arnold until 9pm Had I known it was going to take that long I wouldn’t have gone Only takes 2.5 hours by car so spent more time on the coach than I actually did in Wells I think it would be helpful if you actually advised on your website how long the journey is from each pick up

Keep cancelling trips
I have been using Skills for many many years without any problems but have now had 4 trips cancelled in just over a year. Last week they asked for full payment on one trip knowing it would probably be cancelled as there were only 6 booked on it, it has now been cancelled. Last time a trip was cancelled I asked for alternatives but nobody got back to me, it then took about 10 days to get a refund which is unacceptable. I've started using other companies who hopefully will be more reliable.
