We are a client of Singularity and unfortunately very dissatisfied with the current service.

Most processes appear to be fully automated, with no clear human oversight. The automatically generated VAT returns are inaccurate and cannot be adjusted, which is a serious concern for our business. Despite following Singularity’s own instructions to reply to their emails with our questions and requests for corrections, we have received no response whatsoever.

There is no assigned contact person or clear support channel, the helpdesk phone is not even being answered, making it impossible to resolve these issues. This lack of communication and accountability is extremely frustrating and does not meet the expectations of a professional financial service provider.

We feel like we are being scammed.

Avoid this company at all costs. I paid Singularity €550 in October 2025 for Irish VAT registration.

Ghosting: After taking my money and documents, they ignored my emails for over 7 weeks.

The Lie: When I finally threatened legal action in December, they replied claiming my application had "already been submitted" to the Irish tax office and blamed delays on the system.

The Proof: I contacted the Irish Revenue Commissioners directly to check. They confirmed in writing on Dec 31st that NO application exists for my company.

Singularity didn't just fail to do the job; they lied to me claiming the work was done to try and keep my money. This is not just poor service; it is deceptive conduct. I have revoked their authority and am now filing a police report for contract fraud (Warenbetrug) and a complaint with the Steuerberaterkammer.

Do not trust them with your tax compliance.

Bisogna scrivere alla polizia dello stato tutti insieme per dennunciarli, sennò questi continuano, e pensano anche di averne il diritto.

They took our money and did nothing for nine months. During that time, the person in charge was replaced twice while I was working with them, and even when I requested a refund, they said it wasn’t possible. If you want to avoid getting scammed by this company, I recommend staying away.

Late vat fillings, no support, no answer to emails. Please AVOID this company otherwise you will receive many fines and penalties from your vat registered countries.

We paid the annual fees upfront but they didn’t actually do any work. Our VAT returns were not filed, despite the deadlines passing and constant chasing from us. Then when the returns were vastly overdue they demanded an additional fee to finally file them. They’re rude, arrogant and send threatening emails when challenged on their lack of service. Avoid unless you want to throw money away then pay a second agent to do the work that they should have.

Probably the worst company I've ever done business with. Late tax returns, no replies to emails. Singularity causes me so much stress. Total lack of communication on their system and what I'm supposed to do or not. The price has been tripled with zero communication, and with 15 unfiled VAT returns they will be lucky to get paid. It's just utterly a terrible, terrible business. A shambles. Please pay more and find yourself a good service, this isn't worth the stress.

We switched to Singularity after Amazon discontinued their VAT services. Initially, the company seemed promising. They responded quickly to presale inquiries and offered competitive rates with an attractive promotional period.

Unfortunately, that positive first impression was short-lived. Response times deteriorated dramatically once we became clients. Queries often took days or even weeks to receive answers. Getting authorized with HMRC was an ordeal that required countless phone calls. We found ourselves speaking with India-based support staff who appeared to be navigating the HMRC website for the first time.

The self-service portal they promised wasn't ready at launch and remains only partially functional over a year later. We've been required to email sales reports instead, but these submissions are frequently not received and no explanation is ever provided for these failures.

Most concerning has been their performance on core services. Singularity failed to file VAT returns several times and submitted others late. This resulted in penalty points from HMRC and enforcement actions from German tax authorities against our company. Their responses typically demonstrate poor English proficiency, and many questions go completely unanswered. Despite these serious issues, we never received a single apology for the missed or late filings.

After extensive correspondence, we managed to reach a barely acceptable working arrangement. However, the relationship took a decisive turn when we received their invoice for the new period. Not only was it backdated and already past due (problematic enough for an accounting firm), but the amount was over 200% higher than our contracted rate.

When we challenged the invoice, they responded almost immediately. This was a stark contrast to their usual sluggish communication on VAT matters. Their reply was blunt: the price stands, and we're free to find another provider if unsatisfied. The timing was clearly calculated as they knew switching providers would be difficult with VAT returns due soon. This backdated invoice with a massive price increase feels like a predatory business practice.

I strongly advise avoiding this company!

Beyond their sales and billing departments, they appear to employ staff with inadequate VAT knowledge and procedural understanding. They struggle with basic technical issues and unilaterally impose substantial price increases in what borders on extortion.

The german tax authorities a the worst they live to make your life worst, so I decided to get professionalls for my Business to deal with them, and singularity is doing it perfect. I had to do minimal work and my bussines is in perfekt compliance with german tax law.

We had to part with our previous tax advisor and switched to singularity.
Singularity was able to continue right where the old tax advisor had stopped and that without much complication

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM DO NOT USE! I paid a year in advance for VAT filings. Singularity filed one tax return (late) and then they completely disappeared. They stopped responding to emails. If you call their phone number it rings through then hangs up on you with no one on the other end of the line. Zero customer service. I am now looking at court action to try and reclaim the money I paid. If you look on LinkedIn to try and connect with someone - the company doesn't exist and there are no staff there with a linkedin profile you can contact.
