Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to request a refund for tickets I purchased to a Broadway show. I notified the insurance company and filled out the online request.
I was sent an email concerning my ticket refund. However, without specifics I was very skeptical. I did not hv my refund process number (which was incl in the received email). The email stated to recv my refund to add my banking info to the secure link within the email.
I watched this email for about a week. I was sent a second email requesting the same information. I finally went back to the original email and matched the request number with the insurance refund number. However, just to be sure I called the toll free nbr listed in the second email. The lady who assisted me was so patient, helpful, even verifying the Broadway play I had purchased insurance for. She walked me through the steps to add my banking info (secure link- letting me know that they refund to your bank account, not credit cards. Or refund via Pay Pal if you dont hv a bank account). I was told I should receive a refund in abt 7 days. I spoke with this lady on Saturday..money was in my account on Monday. Next time I will pay more attention to the refund email I am originally sent.
In todays environment of "electronic scams" you cant be too careful.

Thought I was going to get sent to some shady hard to deal with the third-party and have several back-and-forth to get a refund. Instead, as long as I had the receipt email and the medical record from my Doctor (which are all conveniently online these days), the refund process was easy breezy, and I got it within 48 hours.

Anxiety attack at venue day of performance. Our claim was rejected as we "got to the venue", even though, a mixture of hot weather and crowding added to the anxiety attack, resulting in us leaving the performance an hour before it started!

After going back and forth with this company through their support chat, who initially said as we scanned our tickets, our claim is rejected, they eventually admitted that we could get evidence from the venue and a medical letter so our claim could be escalated.

After getting evidence from the venue that we left before the performance started, this company will not accept the medical history on the NHS app as evidence, and therefore we have had to pay £30 for a GP letter to confirm that is why we left before the performance started. I am waiting on the letter before initiating an appeal, but this company has made no effort whatsoever to attempt to make this process easier, and I disagree with the other reviews saying that they sympathise
